The guild now has an On Season and Off Season outline under Guild Policies.

This will help define when Being Active is a requirement from our members reflecting ACE's seasonal reality. This also interacts with Staying in the Guild by Being A.C.E. and how activity is measured.

Newsletter #47 was published today.

One of the things it contains is a link to the Discord server ACE is testing.

Discord is a free messaging and VoIP platform. Since it has a message history it can act as a forum which is what some members have been asking for. The VoIP is on a Sydney server and latency should be the same for what members get with Mumble currently.

A reminder to guildies Flashback ends in five days so sort out those stash tabs before the merge.

Darkshrines hype but it doesn't have HC listed right now, kinda had hopes for testing my armour PA before it got nerfed to the ground in the next 3 monthly... I guess we will see.

Thanks for your interest. Check the first post in this thread and read "New Members". There is a form to fill if you wish to join ACE.

ACE is trialing Discord (currently in Alpha) a messaging and VoIP platform that can load up in your web browser or you can use a client.

Nearly a third of the guild are on Discord with positive feedback so far with regards to it offering a missing link with offline messaging capabilities. In the event of any issues with Discord we still have Mumble there to fall back on.
