Let me explain to people how easy it is to do a lottery scam.

Alright, suppose I'm doing a 6L lottery for a random item, ill use this Searing touch as an example.





What you need to do, is get about 8-10 of the same item, with the same rolls/colors. And then each one will have a different link combo. Some items that is easier to do than with others.

And then offer to post the item after every link. Basically you pocket the fusings and then alternate posting between the identical items you have. The more different types of link combos you have for otherwise identical items, the better.

Setup difficulty depends on the item. If someone was to have 10 identical shavvrones except for links, they could basically perma-scam fusings. Then they could use an alt account to play as the "fake winner" of the lottery. That way it doesn't appear to be a lottery that nobody ever wins.

That's why people use twitch. I wouldn't be giving any fusings to lotteries that aren't. Most wouldn't.

Most lotteries I've seen don't use twitch. And even if the guy is using twitch and hits it, there is no guarantee you will get paid. And of course, nobody can out you on the forums for scamming if you do it or the GGG mods will show up and eliminate your critics for you.

you can make a thread that says im going to scam someone record yourself scamming said person and post the video on the forums and GGG will do nothing to you.

No i believe this thread is actually quite helpful to help prevent others from being scammed.
We need to teach people to avoid these scams, and the best way to do it is with informing them of what they need to look out for.
