Tree is up and it looks like out of the 5 trap clusters only the ranger one is hard to access as a scion or shadow build. Anyone have any build set ups yet?

It also looks like with sovereignty mana reservation passives we can get a third aura without having to use blood magic.

Edit: Gave a shot at making a life based starting from scion but not optimized yet. Its easy to interchange if you want to start as shadow too.

some of these trap nodes seem lackluster,

im holding off stacking too much trap throwing speed untill i can figure out if my mana sustains it.. "else they are a waste"

DISC+CLAR on aura - 250 Mana unreserved - SUFFICIENT regen "better than before"
dropped vitality..i really only needed that for RF

Running Purity to enforce lowlife, to trigger Pain attunement.


This build plays the same as non RF before "wich was totally fine, it was RF that was making things blow up way too fast"

trap trigger buffs are a significant improvement, as is the added -10% resist and trap immunity.


i've been playing domination though, so did not get to test trigger gem setup for it

as soon as i find the time, i will update the OP to match 1.0

Hi, I've been keeping an eye on your thread for the majority of the day and it's got me really interested to try a trapper. The only thing that is putting me off is that you have used all 120 skill points. Given the fact that reaching lvl 100 to get all of those points is going to take a very long time, do you have an idea of what the skill tree should look like at around lvl 75 or 80? Rather than a full 120 point build.

Would be much appreciated!

i can do a 110/100 point soon i did it before 1.0 aswel

just havent found the time to clean up the massive OP i wrote and reformat that to 1.0



besides im still trying to minmax the 120 point, when im happy with it i will scale it down level wise.
