1.0 "It's a Trap" Tyrliths Endgame Trapper - HC+ VIABLE! "WE ARE FINE"!

I've been eyeing this build for about a week now. Are there any general tips for leveling up? I find that I have to get my friend to rush me through certain areas because I lack boss damage and lack survivabiltiy as a whole. I can kill the average pack and rare fairly easily, but I'm feeling like I'm slowly getting out scaled by the mobs.
I don't really know how to gear a spellcaster. I've always been melee, so I'd normally just get a high damage weapon and stack health and be fine, but on this I don't know where to start. Especially considering the tree image on the bottom you linked doesn't have any health nodes.
Yeah I respecced to CI at lvl 72. Before that I had 8-10 hp nods. Your lightning trap + fire trap should easily clear everything.. Shock them first and then burn them with the fire. Throw in some bear if you need to but you really shouldnt, I was doing massive dmg while leveling up. Took majority of the trap nods with some hp nods first.
How are people doing in Nemesis with this? Anyone tried it?

I think your skill builds are stuffed up, too.

btw, endurance charges is a big yes now with cast on dmg taken. "previously trappers using this build where weak to phys"

so oak +1 is valid

sorry for STILL not having updated the OP.

i normally do write ups on waiting peroids during office hours but its been hectic here

i'll be revisiting my standard trapper soon, getting a bit bored with hitting the gearcheck for dominion 70+ maps (need significantly more armor/and a 6l for ll would make me pretty happy).

What would you 6L? I have a 6 sox 5L Searing Touch on Dominion and could not figure out what the sixth gem would be for more Fire trap? Using multi, ignite, fire pen, increased burning dmg last one increased area of effect or item rarity maybe? I dont like concentrated effect.
oh i was refering to my spectral throw scion,

as for 6l, its not required at all.
if anything i would 6l shock nova to increase shock duration with Qual added lightning

5l ingite setup is fine, but its not really as needed
4l firetrap will work without issues

i linked it like this:

if you dont like CE (which you could compensate by 12% by passive skill tree AND gem) you can replace it with Iron Will
As a CI build I have no strength so it does not make seance to use Iron Will. I think I will just keep it as 5L untill they come out with better gems.
Great build! Started one this weekend and this is the most fun build I have played yet! Thanks a bunch...
It's a good write-up, thanks for the work that went into it! Looking forwarded to an updated skill tree, particularly for the final build. :)
