Im sorry to say that but ...well the staff is .. i mean.. the DPS with quality is just 337. :(
Even the lowest possible roll of a Kaom's Primacy has more DPS .. and you can get one with such a roll for less than 10 chaos orbs. "I'm going to show you pain you never knew existed, you're going to see a whole new spectrum of pain!!!!! Like a RAINBOW!"

Well in that case it is indeed a good find! Btw don't get fooled by the low cost of some Kaom's .. they are the pre-buff version of the item.. and let's say that they are not good.. not good at all

Finding that staff made me curious what other staves were out there.

" wow how did you go from feeling like 3 chaos was out of your budget to getting a weapon like that that must be worth multiple exalts?? Also I would try 6 socketing it before trying to link it. It is kind of a waste to try to 5 link something with only 5 sockets. It wouldn't be that hard to 6 socket it compared to how great if would be if you accidentally 6 linked it! " I think I got a good deal :P I'm not having much luck with sockets though, when I got the staff I just felt like working with what I've got. I could always revisit later once I've rounded out the rest of my gear. I'd rather be able to farm than not. IGN: Frazetta

Getting 6 sockets first is really the right way to go because it's actualy easier to get 5L on a 6socket item compared to 5 linking a 5 socket item.
