Official Blender Post! Lets theory craft for 1.2! 123k Cleave DPS!

Hi I'm quite new at PoE and a lot of reddit people suggested this build. Is there any updates to this build? Because this was posted in August. I find this build very interesting and fun. :D

yes definitely viable in HC, I've tried this on Garena Server HC league and I'm on Level 52 right now, I can still dive on Mobs without a problem no multistrike yet and good gears all are still crap gears hehe.
So, with the change to CWDT, how do you feel this build is going to be affected? Should we just level up CWDT in order to use higher leveled supported skills, or keep them low too so we can keep the reliable low damage?

I'm only 47 with this build at the moment, but it's definitely the most fun I've had out of any build I've tried so far.

its very viable! even without BoR!
i ran 66/67/68 maps without BoR and only having a 4L DS/multisplsh/multistrike/ aded fire or lifeleech setup!

whichever u prefer really.
right now i am running 2 cwdt setups both lvl1:
1. cwdt lvl 1 - enduring cry lvl 5 - enfeeble lvl 5 - moltenshell lvl 7
2. cwdt lvl 1 - bloodrage lvl5 - immortal call lvl 3 - inc. duration lvl 18

works sofar. dont now if i want to level up the 2nd setup a bit cause i want bloodrage to trigger immediatly.
for the 1st setup i can switch moltenshell to decoytotem. but right now i dont like the distraction and mobs gather faster around me! not set on moltensehll yet, but i don't know what else i shoudl run.

Rebuke is one thing, but your gem setup is not that good for Dual Strike in your chest armor. You have 5L but you are using two sockets for Life Leech and Mana Leech. You have no Added Physical Damage, MultiStrike, Added Fire can be added as well. There is no need to have Leech Mana/Leech Life if you use Warlords Mark curse. I am not sure why people do not use it. It helps you build Endurance Charges, gives huge boost to life leech (putting people over the cap) and Mana Leech if needed.

If i were you, i would re-do my 5L colours and setup one of the two skills to full DPS.
You will need 2xGreen+3xRed setup.

For Dual Strike:
DS+FA+Added Physical+Melee Splash+MultiStrike (if you have mana issues i would consider replecing Added Physical with Blood Magic)

For Cyclone:
Cyclone+Faster Attacks+Added Physical+LoH+Added Fire (if you have mana issues i would consider replecing Added Fire with Blood Magic)

Don't bother using Frezny as this will be less DPS then Dual Strike or Cyclone in 5L setup. Use this weapons slot for Warlords Mark or Temporal Chains curse.

Also you are using a lot of MF gear which is not great. If you want to do boss MF runs, then i would say go with your full item build (max resists - loads of health etc) and then get boss to <10% health. Portal to town, swap to your full MF gear and use setup like this for maximum possible MF with one hit kill:





You just flicker strike boss that has below 10% health and you drop it. I farm Dominus like this and ok, it adds extra minute or two to swap gear and stuff but it takes me longer to ID and sell all stuff then get to Dominus and kill him.

Because CwDT activate skills only if their lvl requirement is equal or lower.
I your case, other skills should be < 33 as requirement.
In x2P's gear other gems are 60+ lvl.

Despite using FA will greatly improve your damage, without a soul taker you'll encounter serious mana issues. I suggest instead a RRRRG setup with Added Fire instead of FA.

Just consider my Dual Strike costs 103 mana with my BoR, and I attack 10 times per second, that means around 1000hp loss every sec with blood magic.

Once I'll get a Soul Taker I'll switch BM with Added Fire.
