Hi, I'm also having problems when launching PoE.
I'm using a MacBook Pro with OS X 10.8.5 with NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024 MB graphics. When I launch the app my screen goes white and I get all those error messages people mentioned - undeclared identifier 'mad' - failed to load Shaders/Antialiasing.fx - the D3D device ... - Failed creating Direct3D - DXUTCreateDevice failed I have to switch desktops and move the white screen to a new one to be able to see the dialogs. I tried moving the resources folder in the 4.1.1 package to the 4.0.3 package but got the same results. Also wineskin is 2.5.12 in 4.0.3 but 2.5.10 in 4.1.1 (...?) My LastRunWine.log file in package>Resouces>Logs is empty. Is there (or any chance of) a sticky post with all the instructions on how to make things work? I'm sure i could find my answer in here somewhere, but that would mean reading though (potencially) 173 pages of posts. Anything else I can check? Thanks for the help! | |
" from 4.1.1: <key>CFBundleShortVersionString</key> <string>Julus v4.1</string> <key>CFBundleVersion</key> <string>Wineskin 2.5.12</string> nope its not 2.5.10 - 2.5.10 is in actual 4.1, 4.1.1 uses 2.5.12 (but it is reporting as version 4.1 as I forgot to change version number there) do NOT move resource folder between wrappers, it will break more things than fix as 4.0.3 uses crossover wine and 4.1.1 uses vanilla wine. 4.1.1 installation you will recognize by its size - it has doubled against 4.1 (quick fix, I will make proper fix later to reduce size) Last edited by julus on Sep 29, 2013, 2:29:00 PM

Good evening there,
Got a problem with my macbook pro, 10.8.5 running with Intel HD Graphics 4000 512 Mo I have a problem with PoE port, 4.11 didn't work for me recently so I downloaded 4.0.3 client to play the game.
