With your logic, no any 2 builds in poe can be compared unless they cost the exact same. Its ridiculous.

Ferrari and punto? lol, I compared a 50k car to a 250k car with the same power, cost should not be a factor. But hey, call your build a punto and his a ferrari then, suit yourself.

The videos you linked showed Infernal Blow / Double Strike so you are comparing a melee build with a spell-casting build. ---> More strawman arguments from you. Am comparing them on tanking capability. The same way me and someone else compared discharge and flicker as fast clearing builds in another thread. Besides, your spellcaster is playing as melee as it gets for a spell skill, you stand and cast EK for half an hour on just a pack of white mobs without moving because of the low dps.

Also, you skip half regen / no regen maps? Have to reroll a nice map cuz of that mod sucks. Why not link mana leech once you 6 link chest?

And why vuln instead of PW as offensive curse? Vuln = ~45% more physi, PW = ~35% all dmg, and pierce and knockback

if you don't like his build don't play it. i personally think it's a clever and well designed build.

and it's perfectly valid to talk about cost with a build. this has a lot of relevance when starting a fresh character in a fresh league. notice he's on onslaught.

for example, i wouldn't want to start a build in a fresh league that requires shavronnes. that would suck.

I think his build is cool too ^^ lol assumptions much? I shouldnt have said 'its not as tanky / hasnt got as much dps as ...', it was automatically guaranteed to attract rage and nonsense strawman arguments such as costs of builds etc

Now I really want to know why vuln over pw, and if he skips half / no regen maps ^^

I'm not quite sure you understand what a straw man argument is, because in this context it surely is anything but; regardless, I agreed on all levels that his build is better, as I've said multiple times in this thread. I just reiterate that if you can compare one aspect of the build, you must also compare all others, this is actually quite simple logic.

1/2 regen and no regen maps are easy, just swap out Fast Projectiles for Mana Leech. The only affixes I skip are Blood Magic like nearly everyone else in this game.

Vulnerability is better because it affects Bear Trap's damage. Multi-target damage isn't really an issue.

yeah bear trap, but how often do you use it, esp. after traps cycling nerf? just saying pw is more dps, something you could use.

How do you deal with spell damage? Not just fire, but all spell's.

Aux, I love this build's theme so much however Im more of an ES user and have been trying to make an ES based build that could do something like this. 99% sure it would not be able to run Arctic Armor and will not be as tanky as your build but should still be somewhat tanky.

Mind looking over this and let me know what you think?
