Spectral Throw is godly for levelling early, way stronger than EK. Get a big 2h weapon and you meatgrinder everything.

Lvl 27 is very low to see the effect lol...

Atm I have mana issues as my sword is too fast and sucks the mana out of me...

IR is keeping me quite tanky though, but I still need to be careful not taking too many mobs at once.

I'm kind of taking a short cut (as I always do..), and party up with strangers in Dock (lvl 32 area), but I don't get damaged much due to mitigation (around 53% physical).

Only thing I don't like is my damage, but hey, 1 hand weapon and pretty sucky one, can't expect much, but at least im tanky.

Yeah I noticed that, have seen lots of players using 2h ST and killing much faster.

I should probably use a two hander when I solo too, but I need a decent 2h first!

I definitely recommend that. I simply took a lot of defensive passives early and got a big 2h weapon with any kind of damage mods. Elemental/attacks speed/physical they all add damage to ST. Also I recommend NOT using LMP with it early on. It already does pretty good aoe if you aim it good so it isn't worse the loss of DPS early on IMO.



thats my current weapon. I have just over 100dps with spectral throw and am 1 shotting most white mobs at level 26.

I decided to level as EK in nemesis and it was awfully slow up until level 40-50 but I managed to buy a 16% quality EK gem, that helped my DPS out alot. And aslong as I was running hatred I was doing atleast as much DPS as the spectral throw scions in my group and being wayy tankier than them.

If you're gonna build this build I suggest you just go the same old.
You'll still be able to sustain AA,TS,Grace and clarity but you might not be able to run purity/determination. But this isn't a problem because of the grace buff basically making it the same :)

Here's my current skill tree for those interested, far from optimal but.

lvl 75 EK scion here

I'm running grace, hatred, Arctic Armour and Tempest shield on mana, and running clarity on life atm (will switch to reserve mana when i get a decent ES shield). Still have enough mana and regen to cast EK with ease. As soon as i get an Alpha's Howl I'll be able to run determination on mana as well. I can run grace, determination and hatred all on mana with a lvl 17 reduced mana atm but with only ~200 mana remaining (only have about 150 ES on shield) so i just need better gear...
