So? It's not forbidden per forum guidelines as far as I know of. I also don't see the harm of necroing in general. The topic is still a current issue, it's not disruptive, doesn't harm other users, et cetera. Can you politely explain why you are bothered by it? Without calling me dude?

I just can't believe that a lot of you guys really QQing about some other dude playing the game in a higher resolution/ratio.
This is some next level shit. But I must say that this is some creative shit compared to usual "Drop rates are horrible!" QQ we see. Just keep up the good work, and keep surprising me, next time I'm expecting you to QQ about gaming hardware and how they give unfair advantage to those who buy(therefore turning the game into Pay to Win) them. And then maybe you can also cry about ping, and make some rational explanations about why everyone should play the game with fixed 300 ping so no one gets unfair advantage towards any player with poor connection. If you want to demonstrate that you are not just a fire-started and indeed wish to rekindle an old argument on still-relevant topics with the best of intentions, then when you "necrobump" the thread, including something like "I realize this thread is years old, but I think it should still be discussed..." in boldface text would demonstrate to posting playerbase that you don't intend to "hidden necro" the thread for trollings sake like so many others do. #1 rule of official forum boards of every video game ever: use the forums to relay info, gather suggestions, or the rare narrow-focused Poll; but NEVER as "feedback".
#2 rule: Never say the #1 rule in an official capacity. Let some guy on the forums say it, leaving yourself plausible deniability. |
