[1.0.6] CI Crit Dagger Shadow (30k DPS Flicker Ninja) [OB video up!]

Finally got to lvl72.
about 3k DPS with Double Strike
2.6DPS with Flicker Strike
1.2DPS with Lightning Strike.

3.3kES, 1.6k evasion.

Still horrible and i can't survive alone in the Docks, but at least I am not slowing people in public parties down.

all crafted myself, the weapon i bought for 1 chaos and 1 alchemy. the shield dropped today very suprisingly :)
If some one has better gear to help me out, it would be much appreciated.

Try to get 4L or 5L chest. You need to link more support gems to Lightning Strike. I don't have optimal support gems, because I lack stats/gear for it, but I have: Mana Leech, Faster Attacks, Lesser Multiple Projectiles and Pierce. Now I can spam it freely and it does ok damage. All other options either didn't do enough damage (LMP and Pierce actually makes you do more damage even if your paper DPS decreases) or LS started to cost too much.

Also, you need Reduced Mana gem. Link it to three most important auras you can find and you'll raise DPS and survivability nicely. Which auras are the most important? That depends on your gear and general feel what you need to progress.

I actually playing the shadow with claws due to the bad luck of drops. I'm lev 49 in ruthless act 3 and it feels like running against a wall playing the build actually. What can I do to improve my survivability (actually I stack armor+es til I can find decent es gear)
I have 1k hp + 300 es.

The hardest part for the build is merciless act 2 end and merc act 3 end. When you reach merc a3 you should farm docks nonstop. If you are having hard time you should try to get ur fire res to cap and bring a fire res pot with you. It really helps you against those dogs since it raises ur fire res through the cap to 85%(thats 40% more dmg reduced compared to 75!) I advice you to get around lvl 72 from docks before you move to maps since xp is alot better from there due the faster pace. Other good places to farm are ledge in act 1 and fellshrine ruins in a2. Usually its wise to get fresh lvl b4 you move out of those farming places and want to progress. And one more thing. People think that they should be able to just rush through all the content. The whole point of this game is gearing ur toon and if you hit a brick wall its usually becouse of lack of gear. Just join a group and farm!

CI nerf....This build sucks now...rather try new build instead of this build...if u want to play this build, u NEED to be RICH to buy expensive ES gears and still die a lot.

What's a good DPS per level range?
I'm level 46 and I'm following this build. I've been trying to max my resists and DPS but I'm only reaching 780 DPS with Double Strike and 710 DPS with LS. I've been asking on global chat and people have been saying they reach about 1-1.5k single target damage around my level. Is it because they twink their characters with their lvl 70+ farming char or do I really suck?

Here's my gear right now.


I have maxed resists in Cruel only 386 Armor and 1356 Eva.

Level 9 Lightning Strike - 709 DPS

Level 11 Weapon Elemental Damage
Level 8 Lesser Multiple Projectiles
Level 6 Pierce

Level 12 Double Strike - 784.6 DPS

880 Life 160 ES - This needs work probably but I can't increase my health AND double my DPS at the same time. I just upgraded 2 levels ago from an alched lvl 20 rapier to a nice claw and now to this 1h sword. I went from 300 DPS to 784 which I think is pretty impressive but now it pales in comparison to other people's DPS.

Does my gear really suck? Do I need a shit ton of supports? What could I do to improve my DPS? Or am I obsessing over DPS and I should just focus a lot more on Health? What kind of DPS should I be expecting to pull right now anyways?

Sorry for the rant I'm just frustrated because the people on chat make it seem like they can achieve this kind of DPS with no ease at all.

You shouldnt lvled LS, because at h-lvl you will respec STR points like fitnesse and you will have a problem :P

Get hybrid ES/EVA gear, or go straight for ES gear all the way to late/end game, then change to the suggested one - 1st Post ;P

You dont have to care about DPS, it will be low, cuz it gets high later ;)

I cannot play Fellshrine solo. I'm farming in group. When in group, my stats is:

DS DPS = 1800
ES = 2200

I got ghost reaver for ES regen... but it regen so little points ... I start to be afraid ...

just for everyone wondering what numbers can be had at certain levels. here's my gear and es/dps. Level 66



Use 3x surgeon granite: 1 for ev, 1 for ar, 1 for ele res, 1x surgeon mana with ev, 1x quick

my es is 4.5k buffed
ev chance 39%

Chance to hit 85%

flicker dps 5.9k
double strike dps 5.55k
Ls dps 3.1k

docks = easy mode


see mob, make sure bloodrage is still ticking, ls a bit, ds a few stragglers and flick the rest and then move on. yellow mobs = face tank with ds.

Even in a group of 6 at docks i can solo a pack of magic fire dog dudes.

Also, these numbers aren't hard to hit. Just look at Invalec's endgame gear guide. Not overwhelmingly expensive either. Everything above cost me maybe 6 ex combined (including uniques). cheep cheep.
