I trust that your concern has been legitimately addressed and you will now agree that FFA loot is the only option for anyone, and those who don't like it can just play solo.

Obviously, there's no 'correct' answer when it comes to FFA loot, it becomes a matter of personal taste.

Personally, I dislike being competitive in any way in an RPG. I much prefer the 'all for one and one for all' approach.

However, since FFA is the default, for me this means that I will never join a public game unless my RL friends are playing.

Unless a non-FFA option is offered in the future, the entire "group up, make friends" is a part of the game I will never experience.

Sad that, but those are the choices GGG offers; FFA loot or solo-only play. There is no other option, other than to stop playing this otherwise awesome game.

I wish for the beta they would have free respects that away could try out more of the tree. Just my 2cents

People make it to nearly level 30 in a 3 hour hardcore race. Seems pretty quick to me.

Also, you can find some of the best items in the game at any level.One main reason that rerunning content in other games is so boring is there is no reward aside from the leveled player. In PoE, you can literally get the best item in the entire game at level 1.

I think this thread is still relevant - and even more so with some balance/skill changes coming with OB.

Some people like to complain when their publicly posted feedback is not received well by other closed beta members. It's easy to forget that your feedback is not the authoritative solution. It is a personal suggestion based on your personal opinion and limited perspective and knowledge.

You don't have access to the data or feedback that GGG does. If you believe your opinion should rank above GGG, you don't understand this basic concept.

People on both sides of every issue do this. Even people who make threads like this sometimes act like their opinion is somehow more important than everyone elses.

If the game shifts from having a hardcore heart and purely cosmetic or very minor convenience stuff then I'll be gone.

Chris seems to have complete and utter integrity, I'd be frankly shocked if he just went "AHHHH LOLOL, PAY4ORBzZZz AdnD charararacters!" I'm not too concerned as far as the future goes because GGG have given me no grounds to base any fears on.

My opinion is that GGG has more data and perspective than players and that people should keep that in mind when they complain about changes made or not made. I'm offering a reminder that there is a line between providing feedback and complaining when you don't get your way.
