ah yes, good old probability.
but you see, even if GGG did RNG right and it's not like tossing unfair coins - "infinity" is a nice concept. nice, but theoretical only.

you play 600 hours and get 3 exalts and all the awesome uniques you listed. I'll need to play 800 hours to get them. 900 hours. a thousand hours. who knows? time goes to infinity.
we both play a million hours and I'll be as rich as you. if not - 2 million hours. or 3. or 10...

but right now both you and I know, that you have a better "starting point" than I have.
you're "investing your millions" while I am yet to make one.

the only way I can "make a million" from what I have right now, is go find a newbie, and scam him. sell him something that's hardly worth a Chaos, for 1 Exalt. make a lucky rich noob instantly poor.
I won't do that. I believe in fair trade. I'd rather stop playing if that's my only option.
or, I can go RMT...
well I'd rather kill myself before giving money to some bastard, who uses 3rd-world slave labour as "human bots".

the only thing I am doing wrong, is still playing this game.
I quit Diablo 3 for less.
one of very, very few games I didn't bother trying to finish, in 30 years of gaming.

but while I guess everyone knows what Activision's intentions behind D3 were, GGG's intentions are good. it's their implementation that makes me so frustrated.
and they say the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

also, please tell your friend Khemintiri, that even if I find a Mirror Of Kalandra or Kaom's Heart today - thus instantly becoming more rich than both of you combined - I won't ever be pretentious enough to tell someone "how to be rich". certainly not act like a douche-bag and try to give real-life "tips" about "being better".
I'm still disgusted by his post. he made me more angry than any internet troll ever could.

It is so easy to blame RNG. It is no problem at all to reliably farm between 6 and 10 chaos orbs an hour through simple docks runs. This does not need expensive gear and is very, very easy. If you need longer than 5 minutes (including selling your loot) for a docks run or if an average docks run yields less than half a chaos orb, then you are doing it wrong and you need to reconsider your build/setup. Stop complaining and start improving yourself.

Where are you guys hearing about this eternal orb? I see no posts or new updates about it...link?

I didn't read everyone else's ideas, but I think the Eternal orb will be placed in the map device in the eternal laboratory and greatly buff ( or guarantee ) your map drop rate in the map you are running.

so help me god if this orb turns out to be like a super chisel.. that would be the dumbest fucking thing.
Make an item account bound 'eternally yours'
Nothing that GGG has done in the past has made the game "easy mode". I doubt this one will either.
Upgrades magic to rare removing 1 stat and adding 4 new ones :)
Eternal Orb= eternally tells RNG to go fuck itself.
IGN: UrName(Standard)

IGN: Mr_Freezy(Anarchy) or S_P_O_R_K_E_R (Anarchy, usually on this one now for farming)

or just add AMC93

There's an easier way to do this than using an orb that has to drop.

It's called not trading it.
