Chat Channels
Maybe a little off-topic and probably a long shot, but is there any discussion about the possibility of in-game voicechat? I'm not sure if it would be entirely necessary, but I know that in Dungeons and Dragons online that they have a very streamlined easy to use system built into the game. Obviously it wouldn't work in global channels, but in instance chat or if trading with someone directly it may be a "nice to have" feature.
Like I said, maybe not necessary at all, but something to think about. |

Voice chat option for:
League Party Local (you can disable in options menu). I love virtual brutality so save it for the Mobs...

I also like the idea of a trade channel to prevent (hopefully) trade chat spamming on normal channels.

" I would also like to see this. | |
Yeah dedicated trade and town channels are a good idea. But the option of creating a channel for you and your friends is essential as well.

I think that certain leagues should have an extra chat option. So say you have the default instance chat for normal games of up to 8 players. Party chat, guild chat, and private chat. But then for leagues like iron man and the attrition league there should be a world chat to talk to all players since there will be up to a 100 players in an attrition game. Instance chat might be able to take care of this but if the game has different loading zones then instance chat could be fore the people in a certain area and world chat for all 100 people in that attrition game.

It would be nice if there was one trade channel always open when in town, but is automatically disabled when you enter an instance - but can be enabled again by '/trade' or something if the player is wanting to view the trade chat whilst killing and doing quests.
My reasoning behind automatically disabling it when in an instance would be because players wouldnt really want the massive wall of text on their screen, but would choose to if looking for a perticular item to buy or offers for something they are trying to sell? |
