looks good. I would also like to see a specific trade channels. As in someone who want to sell something. Instead of clogging up the regular channels they can appeal specifically to a trade channel. There could be a local and bigger trade channels.

This would make it to where we don't hear people peddling there items in general chat and it would be easier to find items just by going to the specific chat.

Thinking ahead here.. Spam of items for trade in channels can be a pain.

Grtz to you beta members, wish me luck!
+1
A General/Social chat is always a nice place to hang out.
Use Battle.net 1.0's model

General Chat-1,2,3,4 etc

Trade-1,2,3,4 etc
Hope to see chat channels similar to diablo.
i just hope there isn't a barrens chat channel.
Have you made in game chat ?
Waiting Beta Key
I'd like to see something similar to D2 where you are put in public channels with the ability to create/join channels as well. I enjoy being immerged in the community as much as possible, if only to watch others chat, it creates a feel.
Marauder Discussion Chat
Ranger Discussion Chat
Witch Discussion Chat
Duelist Discussion Chat
Templar Discussion Chat

as well as something for people to create their own chat channels? being able to actively interact with the community even if its completely off topic :>

chances of getting a beta key 0.000001 %
I think what you have is fine just add a normal chat which all people stood near you can see but doesnt get broadcast in any way
"Blue warrior shot the food"
GGG Default Chat:
- Instance chat: All the players in the instance with you. It's basically the default local chat.
- Party chat: This spans instances. You can talk with party members who are elsewhere.
- Guild chat: We haven't announced guild features, but there will definitely be chat channels for them.
- Private messaging: You can of course send messages directly to other players. We'll try to integrate this with the forum.

Suggested Chat:
- Friends chat: Unlike guilds or party, the friends chat would allow you to /friend a player and between logging in and out of the game retain the channel with your friends. This would allow you to quickly talk again with your friends across server. The mechanics would be similar to party chat, but you would not be required to be in a party to talk.
- Town chat: Town chat would be toggle'd to be displayed or muted, but would be setup with a local radius to the player so you do not have 100's of messages going across the screen while in town. This would allow you to walk around and talk to players near you in town, but keep spam to a minimum.
