Stuck in the loading screen
when you are reinstalling, make sure you don't copy any files. You should let the installer and downloader take care of it all. IE: delete your content.ggpk file and don't copy it from anywhere.

I didn't uninstall. I deleted the whole POE file, and hit the downloader, and chose repair. It re-dowloaded everything as a repair, and I was just able to login, go to A3 Merc, and then to battlefront. I didn't actually try and play, but I was able to get into a zone.
Repairing, via the Downloader seems to have fixed it. I dare say I loaded up faster than I have in weeks. |

Anyone figure this out yet?

what I meant is that shoju seemed to be fixed by a new content file. have you tried the same thing? also a reinstall doesn't always mean downloading a new content file. a lot of times people use a backup content file and just install everything else. you never specified what you did with the reinstall. also, did you use a vpn to download over or did you just keep downloading corrupt cached files?

" I have deleted everything related to Path of Exile on my computer and have done 3 completely fresh installs of the game. Also have done defrag and packcheck.exe multiple times before doing the 3 fresh installs. |

Using a vpn?
It's important because it does no good if you keep downloading a corrupt version. |

" Well my issue seems to be resolved idk if it could have been a server side problem or not. Did not find any useful information in the Client.txt (fun reading the chat rollback tho). I did not try putting the game on my ssd as my LOTRO install lives there and keeps me at about 50% usage, we all know what a huge performance hit ssd's take when you overfill them. Thanks |

" Nope, I didn't use a VPN service. I refuse to pay or signup for a service to be able to download the game client from GGG. That, to me, is unacceptable. Users shouldn't have to jump through hoops to get the client that way. I was able to play this game flawlessly since January (up until recently) and if they cannot provide a way to download an uncorrupted version of their client I simply won't play the game anymore. Thanks for your help and suggestions in the thread, it is much appreciated. |
