Hive Fortress needs some tweaks

I’m about to skip this league.
I dunno? make NPC HPx2, give us reward for cleared waves, give us powerups every 6 waves whatever. Its not ok if you cant complite league content if you are not extrimely lucky or KB adept with HH.
i just loot the boxes and leave. no chance i can get all 24 waves with EQ. melee was not in mind with this design. the "buffs" also do not help most of the time.

make it 15 waves not 24. also make give part of the reward with part of the completion. nothing worse then fighting 5 mins and get f-over by range/caster mobs and get nothing at all.

its not even a boss is just normal content how could this have been overlooked?!
I have the same experience that many, that Ailith just dies. I have no issues surviving myself, have decent (but not projectile-) clear and kill mobs without issues. But Ailith dies to the stray projectiles and mobs clearly target her even when I'm on the same screen.

It'd be more understandable if the hive went for her if the player is running around away from her, but even just on the opposite side of the central hand, melee will rush to her.

That is the problem. The solutions could be varied and best up to the devs, but for instance you could give her some life regen / flat damage reduction so that the smallest hits won't take away a chunk / guaranteed heal bonuses or whatever you feel.
Fortesses being impossible for some builds is a feature - nothing to fix.
I mean, either it's intentional or the same group of individuals is unable to learn from past releases and keep repeating same mistakes when designing their leagues for more than a decade.

This fight is hand-crafted for long range builds that insta-explode waves of trash. It absolutely sucks for short range builds.

It's like Blight on steroids without towers. Some of those attackers have a huge range too, and they can shoot at Ailith from off-screen.

They needs to move a lot slower. The circles with special defenses need to spawn a whole lot more often.

+1 it's tough playing as earth quake. Have yet to succeed at one
Wow I thought it was just me, but just getting into maps that I'm basically clearing screens pretty quickly and consistently; but this fortress... After 3 failed ones, I guess I'm done until they tweak them (done attempting the fortress). She needs more damage resistance and/or you need to get the heal buff like once every 5 waves or something. Screw up even slightly past 7-8 waves and she's toast.

For anyone that hasn't done this yet, think of the last wave of normal encounters, that many mobs coming, triple per direction and then it's coming from 3 directions at the same time PER wave after 10 or so.
This is one of the reasons why I avoided melee builds and RF. Because you can't do breach content with this at all.

One of the balance issues in the game. They should make monsters target melee ranged characters more, but it can go wrong for shadow and other squishy characters, as they will be swarmed to death.
Stop spreading misinformation. Earthshatter destroys breach fortresses.
