Hive Fortress needs some tweaks

So I get that if you play a build that clears some screens ahead you won't have a problem with it, but with RF or other near-range builds those fortresses are not nearly doable. I keep failing at early two digit waves, because those monsters just rush down Ailith, as if I am not even there. It is barely manageable if you get really lucky with the random benefits.
Love the new league, not the Fortresses. They are unfortunately a huge time waste right now since you get nothing except those troves from failing (which I do in 9/10 cases) Last bumped on Nov 5, 2025, 11:28:07 AM

This seems very poorly designed that or I am missing something.
I get some builds are great at different things. But I commit some few minutes to a Hive three times now in hopes I beat it this time. However my time is rewarded with absolutely nothing. Is this just not content meant for none screen deleting builds during white maps early in atlas progression? Like is this just some teaser for what is to come at red maps? Either way, at least reward is with some Graftblood maybe even when failing? doing 21 waves for nothing feels meh. At least many other league mechanics still spit out loot if you fail such as loot at the blight pump or alva incursions etc. |

agree on this, even with a mid ranged class the mobs will chip away all of her health long before i can kill them. I see these, i ignore them now till something is adjusted.

+1 npc is way too squishy and gets nailed by casters sitting back casting giant fireballs and other chip damage

Almost the same BS as with the ancestor league. You were FORCED to certain builds to have even a chance to clear late stages. Same story again...
Make the area way smaller, so melee builds have a chance to clear them please. |

Ye when i see the fortress i just run around to get the chests, and leave the NPC. Its impossible with my build sadly for the moment and then its just a massive waste of time cause even if you do manage 20 waves you get 0 rewards.

I agree, right now the only way to win (for non-meta, non-ranged builds) is to team up with other players in a party.
