Hive Fortress needs some tweaks

The failing wouldn't sting nearly as much if we at least got graftblood. The fact that we are clearing a massive breech and they don't award any is a head scratcher.
I'll give this topic another +1.

This is absolute garbage design. Just fix this by either having monsters go for the player more or healing Ailith after every completed wave. I am reliant on help from other players to complete these and I am huge area cyclone with a lot of movespeed.

In one word: Meleecism.

I rolled a blaster and enjoy this, but I'll +1 as this is pretty much undoable on melee builds. Maybe late-game once your build is 600 div deep and has sources of corpse explosion propagation to achieve clearspeed. But league start scenario? Jesus christ.

Just did a level 83 one. There really isn't that big of a difference. Pretty easy, I think they only managed to take 4 bars.
I aquired 2 voidstones with absolutely zero problems. Went back into a tier 3 map to refill atlas points. No shot at clearing a 24 wave fortress, i assume it is possible with a combination of heal and shield but that woudl be jsut to finish one at all not to farm them or anything...THe NPC is just to squishy

Btw. There isn't even a question that some builds might have no issues, lol.

+1 mid tier build for bleed ground slam but no chance on this, if its not an offscreen firebomb its a dumb run around and leave a single mob.

Even with decoy totem (that dies in about 2secs) i can barely get to 'teen stages' bullcrap mechanic and as everyone says doing all this and getting 0 rewards is crap.

Just do something like +1 bar healed for the NPC each wave so we have a chance or give us rewards based on the stages we get too.

It is close to impossible to keep Ailith alive on waves 23/24 unless you have a good rng to get heal/shield buffs in the end. Her defenses are the same of a wet toilet paper, it is very frustrating to do fortress as a melee character right now.

However, the worst part for me is that it is all or nothing. If you die on wave 24, screw you, you'll get kicked from the hive with ZERO loot.

I hope GGG address this soon, as it is extremely poorly designed for melee characters.
The most idiotic thing for me is escaping.

Cleared the hive fortress two times. First time was lucky to escape pressing a life flask every 5 seconds lol but the second time some mob and this wave just killed me. Also it damages randomly between 20 and 50% of the life? Weird.

Overall some visual clues like with Sirus’ maze would be helpful. Otherwise it’s a lame mechanic to lose drop WHEN YOURE NOT ABLE TO SEE THE EXIT PATH.
This is by far worst cookie cutter requirement league mechanic long time.

Best solution what would make this so every build can do is just remove Ailith health, if she has health 90% of builds are useless in this mechanic, or force every enemy to attack player and disregard Ailith, and no warcrys aren't solution because enemies attack offscreen.

Did yesterday Hives with 0 success and today again low level and finally got 1.

And 0 rewards for waves what you have finished makes me just want to stop playing whole hive / poe for this league.
