Game has huge flaws, developers making bizarre choices

Being able to see enemies is better than mana, cast speed, and a ton of other suffixes. Try a low life build out.

P.S. mana is a prefix IIRC.

I suggest turning up the brightness setting on your monitor.

edit: also, is this your REAL answer? srs?

dude..this makes so much sense

"low life builds..when indoors...hard to see.."

im glad they added this special affix just to help you out. can i sell any light radius gear to you?

seems to be dropping quite a lot.

You mean those rich guys running shavs and RF? Not sure why it's so important to see your enemies before oneshotting them.
Actually turning up monitor brightness isn't helpful, at least on my monitor.

Anyways saying it's useful for low life is an argument predicated on future changes that havn't actually happened yet. I have LR right now, and it does fuck all for my low life character.

Fuck you 15% LR :D

EDIT: Ok I checked, and the LR is noticable but not particularly useful.

Although not the highest es helm, that light radius is useful to me. I've already got enough resists that I'm far enough over capped that ele weakness keeps me at 85%. So resists aren't needed.

I also have that mod on my current ring. I also play this game enough, that burning out my retinas with increasing the brightness on my monitor is never gonna happen.

You don't need Shavronne to be low life. You also know nothing about the build if you think you one shot everything.

Thanks for the honesty.

So brightness doesn't work.

You have a problem seeing with your build in indoor maps. They add a COMMON SUFFIX intended to help this issue with this rare build see in indoor maps.

The suffix doesn't do much for the build it was intended to help, and is garbage for everybody else.

Ouch

=(

Is this the best they can come up with?

You don't need Shavronne to be low life. You also know nothing about the build if you think you one shot everything.

The same way you don't need life to survive. It's either shavs or die every other pack of chaos mobs. If you're somehow rich enough to get enough chaos resists and life to survive those, you might as well get a shavs.

I don't know about oneshotting, but I do know that you get more than double the spell damage of non-low life builds. If you aren't one shotting most mobs, then you are doing something awfully wrong.

I request that you fix the map system, and take out (partially) the RNG crap from progression. Also that you make the game actually HARD and deal with the XP penalty.

When?

You should have a talk with invalesco, or pneuma for that matter. Both of them have run low-life builds without Shavronne.

As well as a slew of other people (although I would assume they started their build in SC) :P

No, I'm actually staying alive. Killing things as well. It's just that I play self-found. Although my next build should be dynamite.

Been thinking of a low life flicker discharge build.

P.S. If it's the only mod that will benefit me, why wouldn't I be happy I got it? Screw you and your common +1 minion helm too. :)

4) Rare items have actually been nerfed by GGG deliberately adding useless affixes to the game with the excuse of them "helping low life builds." Bullshit. Total lack of honesty from the developer.

I would hope that as a developer you guys actually take the time to think about what kinds of solutions would be good answers to a problem rather than just blindly committing random community suggestions to code.

I can't imagine the thought process that went behind making light radius a standard gear affix.
