My experience in this game has been nothing but negative and harassive.

People are like this in real life as well I would guess.

The anonymity of the internet just makes it more visible.

Nevertheless if you haven't given up completely you should probably try playing hardcore. At least the Chinese scripters wont bother you there.

Ive had chaos, exalteds, gcps and now uniques chinese scripter stolen from me and now ive had it, im so close to quitting this game, and fuck everyone who comes in to just say that 'go quit then' 'good bye' 'youll be back' 'dont let the door hit you on your way out' 'noone cares' 'can i have your stuff' ive heard it all and its exactly the kind of people i mean, if you were planning on writing something like that then its you who should leave not only this game, but all games, its your mentality that destroys all fun in gaming, its pathetic, infantile, and a illness.

That and the stale assholes that just play these games with scripts, bots, hacks and 3rd party tools, please jump off a bridge you pathetic neglect of society.

LOL, great post.

Yeah for sometime now I have noticed people pick up loot so quick it seems almost impossible to be just clicking on their own. It really seems to be a loot script, but either way loot system sucks and needs to to have a few different options. Doubt the new change coming up will make much of a difference for those that lag. It would be nice if you could be able to attack the person who looted and they drop everything if they lose.

If you every wanna map with someone who you will never have to worry about fighting over loot with just hit me up in game sometime on _Atlan_

And as a few people said in a post above this is the majority of society and hopefully they will be flushed away by famine and natural disaster soon. We are due for a good cleaning.

The real problem with this game is the 'endgame' maps.

I did maps for 2 weeks, got a melee marauder to 82, and quit.

Why?

Because maps, as is, SUCK BADLY.

Go in, plow around, kill a boss.

Thats it?

Thats the game?

LOL

No progression to unlock tiers of maps.

No variation on what to do in maps.

The game world, although small is contiguous up to maps.

Then you enter a magic portal room and fight ad nauseum in zones that are mostly cut and pasted from the game you just levelled in (3 times, LOL). Theres no reason or story (LORE) as to why you are going to said map. The truth is, you are just there because its lazy design, is all.

And then theres more...

Most ability points HAVE to be put in health just to barely survive.

Oh, and desync. Let's not forget this beauty.

The loot sniping.

Melee still SUCKS.

The racing is strictly won by people who play this game 20 hrs a day for a year already and have every single ability path ingrained into their not so easily bored brains.

There are MANY more reasons I shelved this game.

Can't get loot...better bitch on the forums.

When you go into public groups you must assume that you will never get a single piece of loot. You assuming you are entitled to loot is what is wrong with what is going on here. Seriously loot isn't that big of a deal in groups. Everyone gets something jacked on occasion.

The fact that you care at all is what is wrong with gaming...it is only a game.

GGG has posted that they will eventually add different loot systems for people such as yourself but if you want to play this game you will have to deal with it for now or go play something else until then.

Edit: Or better yet play single-player I myself enjoy getting loot so I play alone 95% of the time. If you want to group with randoms you must change your mindset.

People act like it's the games fault that the internet is a cesspool of time wasters seeking self-stimulation. The result? You either get 100% "safe" and happy games like wow that are heavily regulated and have no game freedom or you end up with people acting like dicks. I'll take the latter because I'm sick of games that hold your hand the whole way and make sure you never get ganked for any reason, never lose an experience point or get ripped off by another player, never end up fighting above your level, all loot is automatically divided equaly among the players with binding so nobody can whine or make unfair trades, etc. etc.

Is this a sarcastic post?

I can't see anything in this post that would make me sick of a game?

Or I can choose to either get safe heavily regulated or not. Like in EVE if you're familiar with it. I can choose to stay in high-sec forever or go low/null-sec.

In POE I'll either play solo or party chaos. Solo is boring but party is madness (the bad type). Forget about loot privileges, just the fact that my whole screen feels with useless white junk make me not want to party. Its just too taxing and not amusing whatsoever.(hint: games should be amusing first and foremost).

Loot options are coming, OP.

Don't know just how far they will go, but there will be better options for those that are completely (and understandably) confudled by the 'loot tension' design we have now.

really? hm.. i guess ill have to wait for that then, atm it feels like if you party (for xp gain obviously) you better not even bother to click exalteds or uniques that drop for you because they are script-picked up by others within half a second before your 'rights dissapear to begin with..

Thats my experience in literally all party's.

I hope new options include much longer 'rights' time on loot in parties. 15 seconds or so would be fair and a complete ban and made impossible in the code to script-loot.

I've had a yellow ring drop dissapear on me while i was the only person standing close to it clicking it, and guess what i didnt pick it up, someone else did that was on the side of the screen.

Fed up with it 100%.

Like I say, not sure how satisfactory it will be, but...

To start with, I should note that we are currently planning to add several modes for Loot Allocation in parties: Full Free-for-all, something close to the current system, and a mode with longer allocation duration for people who don't want to deal with item tension. This decision was very hard to make because all of our developers are ninja-looters and love extreme item tension, but after talking with a lot of players, we realised that many people would have a lot more fun if we offered these options.

Sounds like allocated loot, thats what i hope for, if it drops for me then im the one who picks it up, not someone else with a script. This will make playing much more rewarding.

I hope they add it soon cause i dont feel like playing atm with things as they are.
