My experience in this game has been nothing but negative and harassive.

Go play a PvP realm :\ - it's way more unsafe than PoE), takes care of the players, tries to ensure they are not scammed, does its best to get rid of exploiters... ...and guess what? The exploiters, griefers, trolls are obviously unhappy :) But they need luv too. So why not cater to them... Other failures&fakes in the quoted post: - you have a crapton more freedom in WoW than in PoE. Freedom to play like you want, and the freedom of having options. Many options... - WoW "holds your hand" only for the first levels; after that, all you have is documentation and the Internet, which is 100% necessary for a player that want to be good - you get ganked (a lot... much more than in PoE...), if you choose PvP. But you have the FREEDOM to choose otherwise... - yes, you don't lose XP in WoW :) I'm not sure how it would work, since you know, WoW actually has HARD mobs in it, that WILL kill you repeatedly, and you have to try numerous times until you learn&get better. Much better to have hard bosses and no XP penalty, than faceroll bosses with penalty IMO. - he cries because he cannot rip off other players :) lol. Just learn to play the AH... - never fight anything above your level - yup, because all you saw was the starting areas... toughen up, fight heroic bosses, always 3 levels more than you - loot is NOT automatically equally divided among players - you roll for stuff, as in RNG roll... or the game rolls for you instead, but there are ALWAYS losers, and winners... - not all loot is bound; actually the AH is the mechanism that can help against unfair trades, not binding. Not to add that the binding you so much hate makes the WoW economy function properly... unlike that other product... And your QQ that you can't scam people is nothing short but amazing. Sorry but the player base for this game is crawling with greedy, filthy scum that only care to profit (and ultimately rip you off) and will try to do so whether you are a beginner or not.
I did a little experiment a few times where I pretended that I was a noob that found an exalt and didn't know the value...and that I was looking to sell it for some gear. Immediately I received a flood of whispers from people offering like 2GCP and trying to convince me it's a good deal...or linking to me a 1 chaos worth Limbsplitter, telling me it will make my low level Marauder (the character I was on) very strong. I got about 5-10 such whispers every time I did this experiment...these players are absolute scum. That said, it's not the game's fault...it's humanity's fault. Online in general, allows people to be who they truly are, without consequence. The way a person acts online tells more about their real character than they the way they act offline. This is not a good look for humanity. |

It's not just in-game either...just read some of the threads here and you will see a ton of parasites who's only job is to wait for new threads to appear so they can insert one of their 50 negative responses that they probably have saved in a text file.

But, let me ask you about these chinese scripters. Are you saying they pick up loot while it's still highlighted for you (before the loot timer has expired)? That should be impossible. If so, you should be reporting it to GGG, because it definitely shouldn't be happening. |
