--nosound and perormance issues on maps

So, there is a small thread on Reddit, which proved to be quite interesting with regards to narrowing down what causes heavy performance issues in game. Here it is.

This is sort of PSA. And a question to Devs.

Why sound impacts performance so much on high end systems? Is it running on the same thread as everything else and slows down everything else when it's taxed?

Also why I still have no sound via SPDIF? How is it possible to have issues with something that works everywhere else?
Bump for visibility, After disabling sound I have had 0 load problems and fps spikes.

Somewhere there is something launching the client.exe for wine. Find that and add --nosound at the end.
I found it, but whenever i add --nosound and try to run it it pops up with the wineskin menu instead of PoE. I will include a screenshot shortly.

Something saying Windows EXE says this:

/Program Files/Grinding Gear Games/Path of Exile/Client.exe

Is this it?

I tried putting --nosound at the end and it didn't work...

Make sure you put a space between them.
between the -- or the client.exe and --?
