I came here from Diablo 3!!! [Please post here if you did as well!]

I was a Blizzard fan since Warcraft1. But after they started WoW everything changed to the bad side. I played WC1,WC2,WC3(didn't like it), SC1,SC2, D2,D2LoD and D3 now.
D3 graphic is horrible, like WoW. Am I a 6 year old child? I dont want this comic shit. But thats not the only bad thing: Ton of Bots, Exploits. They destroy the auction house and real money auction house. So the concept is useless now and UNFAIR. PoE looks really cool... I love the graphic and style.... its like Diablo 2.5... :) Skill Tree is a little bit toooo big but for me ok. For the mass not very friendly... If u want more players reduce it 1/2... | |

Played Diablo 3 but game was nothing but alpha version of a crap.Just 100 hours of my life wasted just because of Diablo 3(how stupid i was to buy it).I just can't forgive myself.

Was here before I played Diablo 3. Still play Diablo 3, but it feels lacking in being rewarding.
Saw some changes to the skill forest here I might like, also hoping that the combat might have become a little more fluid. Maybe Diablo 3 and PoE need to have a love child somewhere down the line and create something really interesting. |

I found this game somewhere on my subscriptions of rss channels when i was waiting for D3. And when i saw that freaking awesome passive skill tree, i knew that i will give a try this game even if Diablo 3 will be good. Well everyone here knows how bad D3 is so, i will give a lot more to this game :)

First of all, I liked Blizzard games in the past (except for WoW, of course). D1 was awesome, I've spent countless hours in D2.
Then I played D3 and was bored after about 150 hrs. And most of the time I didn't even enjoy the game and played after 50 hrs just to see if I missed something. I realized then that only the stupidest of fanboys enjoyed the game after first couple weeks and that patches were horrible, that developers just won't change anything fundamental in the game. So, basically nowadays Blizzard are just a bunch of greedy idiots. Then I've found PoE gameplay video on youtube a week ago and gave it a try by joining beta. So far, I'm impressed by the quality of this game and I really like the fact that it is developed by good guys who obviously care about the gameplay and not about selling several million copies of crappy product. I mean, come on, I was banned on Blizzard forums for a suggestion to fire (!) employees responsible for Diablo 3 atrocious lategame. Those were my only words in a reply to the message from Mike Morhaime and they banned me for 1 month with reason being "harassment". Those sad excuses for a game developers consider a 100% legal action of demanding another 100% legal action a harassment. Way to go, Blizz. At least I'm glad now that I've prevented several people I know from buying this piece of crap from shitty and incompetent developers. |
