I too am coming here from the disaster commonly referred to as Diablo 3. I have to say, from watching the videos and reading about Path of Exile, I am very excited. This looks to be THE game I have been waiting for. Furthermore, the developers of Path of Exile have a great understanding of what makes a game fun and what their customers desire.
I'm really looking forward to this release and I hope Blizzard burns in hell. |

yep, i came here from diablo 3 also. so far, its a better community then Bnet. i only wish with the like, and dislike buttons, you also could have a button called "troll", so that way none of that foolish Bnet mentality tries to take over
support - grinding gear games, cdprojekt, runic games, clockstone, larian studios, south peak games, crate entertainment, invision games (on facebook), localize dragonquest anniversery (facebook).

VERY EXCITED to try this game. Was unhappy with diablo 3 since playing diablo since its first release. Someone posted "see you all on path of exile" and that brought me here. I have heard nothing but good things about this game/beta so i'm very excited to try it!

" There is nothing fun about 99% bad loot, and 1% good, leading you to the AH to gear up. I want to gear up playing the damn game. In D3 Inferno this is not possible. Period. Here is a run down of Inferno: fight about 15 elite/rare mob pulls, loot their terribly itemized vender trash, vender when your bags are full, leave game when you're done the act/run, rinse repeat. You can and will go 10's of hours with nothing, nothing to show for your time but gold. and you need 5-30 million per upgrade after act 2. Wow... so many people as it is.
I'm holding back leaving D3 until I can test this out for myself though. But it is already sounding like a good time. Better than the rather mediocre experience I've been having... & (Ampersand)

I posted in this thread maybe a day or two ago. Before I bought my PoE key.
After a few hours played i can succesfully say ill probably never log into D3 again. Except to MAYBE see what the pvp is like since the game is just going to collect dust next to my monitor. Invasion - No Sacrifice No Glory

Also came here from diablo 3. This looks like a WAY more closer sequel to my favorite game of all time Diablo 2, cant wait to test this game out

When they sat down to make d2, they probably said:
"How can we make a great, fun game, that's appealing to the average gamer, we'll make good money off of that." When they sat down to make d3, they likely said: "How can we make a game, that's appealing to the average person, and never stops making money. Oh, and try to make it fun."
