[3.22] LL CoC Ice Spear Inquisitor // Kill Stuff // Stuff doesn't kill you

I play a version of this build myself, but didn't have a guide for my friend. I run a slightly more aura oriented one with Prism Guardian. 3.22 hit our armour levels hard with the Radiant Faith update. I may try swapping to this version when I can though and see how it feels since all it would really take is the shield and some respec points
Has anyone pushed this build to a more defensive place? I know poe ninja has a lot of copy-paste versions, but it seems the build has migrated to a bit more of a glass cannon. Armor is pretty low unless you sacrifice some attribute nodes and as a result radiant faith value is diminished (see a lot of people going arcane blessing as a result for more dmg) and chaos resistance remains low (can get chaos with purity watchers but probably give up leech or dmg to do so).

When the build and nimis polluted the screen and delete bosses it feels great, but when you randomly get deleted through 9k+ es and less ele dmg taken by phys dmg at 80d+ investment it feels kind of bad, and its not clear how more investment can really solve for that. Maybe it just is what it is now.

Yeah, playing this with around 100div investment (dont even know what else can I improve). But while mapping getting completely bricked when harbringer boss summons a rare mob with mana siphon aura and u just stand still for a second or two and get swarmed (rip -10% xp) or any degen entirely cause theres no regen for es at all here or I'am missing something entirely.
I am doing reasonably well with my setup, though I am not exactly following the guide or anything. I actually didn't even know this thread existed until yesterday when somebody pointed it out.

Example 100% delirious minotaur. It is a little slower than it should be due to the map having the mod 'enemies hinder on spell hit'.

Uber exarch.

I have replaced my ring with one I crafted that has a synthesized onslaught implicit since those videos, so my boss damage is bit higher now. I am now at the proper 10.07 APS, even against bosses without any adds. I was relying on onslaught on kill from boots in the videos above, which obviously wouldn't be up for exarch.

The one thing that I will say is that the stampede is agonizingly slow for general mapping. There are way too many people on poe.ninja who are using it for far too long. Once you get some currency you really should switch into a pair of elusive + tailwind boots, especially as the tailwind helps you get the APS for the 52% CDR breakpoint without needing to stack a ridiculous amount of attack speed. At the same time I think a flask should be swapped to a quicksilver. Going slow is the biggest sin any PoE build can commit.

I also think that sanctuary of thought is clearly the best forbidden jewel set to go for. It isn't cheap though. With it you can dump inspiration as for increased critical damage, as the build can be starved for crit multi otherwise.

Could I get your POB?
My profile is public. You can import it directly into PoB if you want to see it there.

Edit: I hit 99 today, and decided to try a sim while I was fresh into a level. I cleared it just fine, but I admit I did get stuck and died once on wave 29. My chaos res is definitely my weakness, so continuing to stay on the move is pretty much a necessity.

Here is wave 30, anyway.

Here is a pob of where my character is right this moment. I was considering a headhunter swap and switching boots to cdr + tailwind to maintain the 52% cooldown. I think the attack speed bonuses from HH would instantly be messing with CDR breakpoints though.

Hey, thanks a lot for the nice guide.

I got a question regarding the dmg output.

For some reason i barely cast my ice spears - could someone explain the interaction to me?

i got 100% hit chance (95% vs elusive monsters), 100% crit chance and still feel like I should cast ice spear more often. I sometimes just die vs blue mobs bc cyclone does no dmg.

What am I doing wrong? I checked map mods etc but it happens way too often..

Not OP, but you have too much attack speed. You can check the trigger rate in pob. You attack 8.21 time per second but you can only cast ice spear 7.58 time per second. The effective trigger rate is then only 5.68. So just remove your attack speed mod on your flask, replace it with reduce mana cost and you should be good to go.
One thing also is that you are taking a dex node just above the start of templar, so you are cutting almost half the travel nodes for your split personnalities

I checked your PoB and imo you do not have enough mana regen to support your attack speed. You have 67 regen but you need 110 according to your setup.

The new Spell Blade support is insane but currently I cannot find a proper PoB where I can understand how they are able to afford the mana cost of cast on crit without running Inspiration. What am I missing?

With Stampede and Arcane Surge the mana regen would be sufficient.

So basically - this build doesn't require any specific belt. Yet using Mageblood doesn't give you any gain? It's pretty bizarre, right?
