" Dude. 1) You just proved you have no clue what hard is or how this game used to be. A 15% increase in mob damage in Act 1 with our bloated access to early uniques and a more powerful tree is Nothing! Even with a few mini bosses getting reworked by some skill gem reworks isn’t large, nor is it an increase in strategy. We didn’t used to have league mechanics that gave Tabula Rasas early and easy. At least 3 early Archnemesis recipes generated massive grind gear that made any attempt at slowing down the game futile. Gems are also massively bloated, and core bosses to the story have always been nerfed 1-2 leagues after their introduction, sometimes within the same league, sometimes twice. To insinuate that difficulty in quests is why people quit is just ludicrous. They usually quit as soon as they get to maps, because there is now a major difference between Kitava and even tier 1 maps in difficulty. They also have direct knowledge of how easy Delve is vs mapping, and hate the concept of grinding one resource type to be qualified to partake in another. Heist and Delve people love, but they hate Markers and Sulphite. They hate the incongruency between 2000hp trash mobs 1 shorting you while rare mobs in the same map can have 12 mil life, be killed pretty fast and seemingly not as much a threat. They quit when a fun skill lets them down the second it meets resistance and stops scaling damage well. Your response is pretty garbage and egotistical for a 40 who bought gear. I even said in my op that there’s a problem changing a game difficulty people are used to. It doesn’t change the fact that doing so makes a healthier game. |

I’ve clocked over 200 hours in Elden ring and still don’t have 25 gear and haven’t even killed Goderick. Then again, I’ve been doing a lot of filler and crafting and self par leveling and beating all the catacombs. I didn’t use a wiki to tell me where to farm the most runes.

" Its not about extra damage they deal. Everything in campaign feel way more tnaky it used to be. When I lvled my character even with 6L Freezing Pulse act bosses were taking forever to kill. In the past you could have 4L during campaign and stomp everything. |

I'm too busy running lab over and over to get the damn boots enchantment for my animated guardian to look at the forums...

Personally, I miss the possibility of having characters longer than the league in PoE. And I'm not talking about playing in the standard league. I just prefer a game where you make a character and go through the stage with the same character, and with the new patches you just keep climbing (but with the same character) without having to start at 0. For me, it got boring, rolling the same character as starting the league. I started playing more singleplayer. I have more fun there than with PoE. Every league the game gets more annoying and less transparent, plus changes that rotate the build 180 degrees. Difficulties that increase the irritation of the player, and the unbalanced strength of the mobs. I mean situations where the magic monster kills you on a hit but rare one is not a challenge for you (and almost deal 0 dps, and you can kill them on hit). In addition, situations where you have most of the offensive (stats) at the right or higher level, and you fall like a worm and you do not know why.
I also enter the forum less often. I just know the game is going in the wrong direction. I have the impression that it is like a product in the "alpha" phase, there is a vision, but everything changes drastically and so often that someone just doesn't have an idea for the game anymore. If leagues start to appear, where the gameplay will be varied with cool mechanics, without changes to the main campaign (which should be permanent, because the game focuses mainly on end-game. League mechanics + maps), it should be demanding for beginners. We should also have the option of choosing whether we are beginners or veterans (with the second option, we should be able to skip the plot faster, because how many times can you roll the same thing over and over again, as even no veteran focuses on this stage of the game and most skips). So PoE doesn't change. It is not going modern and people are too bored with the game. And there is a shortage of new players because the game is too complicated and difficult for them. The amount of items, mechanics, etc. is too much to learn, and the average player doesn't want to spend hours learning the game. He wants to go in and feel the progress, and without knowing about the game he won't feel it. |

" So I have come across some people have played this game for a very long time and still struggle with it, even when it has gotten 'much easier'. :( On my side tho -- I've not claimed to have issues with league start / campaigns, despite being made increasingly harder. I may not have my atlas complete by day1, but day3 is comfortably fine. I merely speak for new players, my non-poe friends in particular who found campaign difficult because they don't even understand defensive layers, mostly resistance. Don't need to insinuate anything. Pros will still finish acts under 4-5 hours. Campaign's easy for them, us, just not those who are new or those who claim to know historical difficulty but struggle still. Method and knowledge puts you ahead of others. Now you wanna bring up 40, ok -- a number of people, many enough reach 40 easily, there's no need to be a buyer for that. This league has exceptionally easy to get to 40. Buying is for the weak. In fact, I got to 40 while selling many challenges. Easy profit btw. Many here will agree with me 40 is simple this league. Much harder last league but child's play this league. I don't agree with your version of why people quit, bloated gems and what not. You can debate with others on this, and I already know you're going to be roasted for it. But you're right that I am egoistical, and I find that's better than people who think themselves humble (egoistical anyway). No crime committed there. However you're asserting nonsense aka your subjective opinions about issues in this game and me and other 40/40's essentially. But yea try and argue with others people quitting once they reach maps. I really don't need to debate that with you, it only brings me :joytears:. If you've read any of my other posts, which you probably haven't -- I've only complained about this league/game/endgame being boring aka too easy and not rewarding, or otherwise annoying but nothing about hard. Boring league's done for me. I've made my easy currency off casuals. I'm truly glad for you however that you still have many things to finish this league. I'm sure you'd appreciate the keke 'difficulty' more than me. `Spent 2 mirrors on my build, but I'm only Level 98.` LOL
`From just quick sweep of your characters, toxic rain, golems .. sure, non meta... sure.` LOL `What are divs?` |

" Not that I know of. I had to recreate mine because it died and I refuse to run them without the 2% life regen on boots enchant. I got the enchant, by the way, after about 12 lab runs that grabbed every darkshrine. I kinda miss the twice enchanted prophecy... " oh...i just saw that you were not using them with minions...i thought people only used AG with a necro build |

I fit an AG into any build I can. Its buffs are very good for, in terms of my stat budget, only costing the gem slots.
