Most people leave after the league's been out over a month. They'll be back for 3.18. Not to mention they'll be done with Elden Ring, and Lost Ark will have lost its luster.

I can't talk about the league, but on STD, I found this patch to be too "cold". Simulacrums, divines, maven writ, scarabs, have become extremely common, or unprofitable. Compared to 3.16, this is a bit off-putting...
Honestly I didn't like the new three, I used to change farms constantly, so I just changed regions, because I had all the watchstones, today, if I want to change my strategy, I have to spend a lot of unmakings...
same, new tree is bad. if i need a few rounds of alva, and then need to switch to jun, do i need to respec always?
annoying. anyway atlas was not beginner friendly. something had to change, however this is not the answer.
endgame like those u said are just soo unrewarding.
`Spent 2 mirrors on my build, but I'm only Level 98.` LOL
`From just quick sweep of your characters, toxic rain, golems .. sure, non meta... sure.` LOL

This had a surprisingly large impact on my game as well. Instead of moving to different mechanics when I am bored, I am more or less stuck.
Or I have to spend currency just to change my currency farm .... which feels weird.
The Orb of Unmaking should be slightly rarer but allow you to respec your whole Atlas tree maybe?
Overall I like the new tree but being stuck and not being able to switch strats as you desire is a larger downside than I saw at first.
(And as rekikyo said, Elden Ring is also a ridiculously, amazingly, mind-bogglingly good game. I can't think of a better game in a past few years.)

I enjoyed the league.
Just got burned out rather quicker than previous leagues.

I started 6 weeks late, but the atlas changes and tree are amazing. The arch mechanic is cumbersome and qol could be easily improved but otherwise I’m having fun with this league. Wish I had more time to play though 😩 or leagues extended longer! 🤩

You're entitled to your opinion. I have a different one, and that's ok too. Not everyone has to like the same thing.
The league mechanic is always going to be fairly simple/small when there's an expansion happening at the same time. Personally, I love the Atlas changes, and I enjoy the fact that I can dip into the league mechanic when and if I like, and the fact that it can be very rewarding without tremendous time investment. I've made a ton of currency and took a build considerably further than I normally do without feeling like it's a 2nd job.

I don't have issues with them making acts twice as hard. I'm only trying to ask myself: WHAT IS THE POINT? One way or another, people who always progress in this game are going to finish the acts. Streamers are always faster and always make money. The problem is, they are wasting resources and time on acts when they could be fixing many other things. In fact, when you make acts harder, the experienced player will cope. The new player who doesn't even know what resists are will suffer miserably. So why waste resources here?
Why aren't they instead fixing obvious issues like screwed up text that's been there for leagues?
In every game, when you try to push things far, you're going to have to find a means to do as much dmg as possible or be as tanky as possible, preferably both. There's nothing unsurprising or wrong with that.
Being able to be as fast as possible, yet unkillable, with zzdps, very mobile, can boss, can map, easy to play. What's wrong with that? This isn't just a poe thing at all.
The point is to make it so that the above mentioned isn't happening Day 1, and isn't necessarily stacked toward streamers who always run some popular build that will never fail them. It's to make people actually absorb the story rather than rushing through it.
Without concepts of time and substance, what is a game? rotten.
That's kind of what POE is now. It has a Head. It has limbs. It doesn't have a Heart or internal organs. It's just a skeleton with a Head struggling to breath and attempting to give signals to the limbs.
I don't like to admit this, but Maps are just a simulator game in most regards. There's a few quest flag moments, but in reality it's just a farm until you boss simulator which has a limited supply of fixed drops (uniques) and almost never drops a good item with random stats. Sometimes that simulator is good for a gamer who doesn't want pressure and just wants to press one button, but it's horrible for build specific players who want to try something new. You either follow some youtube build, or you get stomped on, or worse.... you play the same exact build 12 leagues in a row.
If you've seen POE2 content, you know that it's why they are trying to slow things down as well. They're going to alienate grind streamers pretty hard when the game begins to revolve around items that give a certain number of links to a specific skill vs having 1-6 slots, and have crossbows and spears in combat methodology, and most existing items get reworked, and global bosses become strategy based very early in the game rather than late, and the have moving arena like traveling on a caravan in the desert, which all time check the player.

Stop talking nonsense. They made acts harder and yet people I know have 100+ atlas score day 1. If you want to slow the game down, you nerf league starters. Not make campaign more annoying. It's only going to make life much harder for new players.
I can't be bothered to reply to the remaining half of your post, it's incoherent nonsense.
