So how much can Monkey King Bar hurt? [theorycrafting]

Depending on how the attack speed works (does it speed up the base attack speed, then is multiplied again? or is just added on) could mean that a high dex, high attack speed, ele hit + melee splash + multistrike combo could be pretty good.

Just got my Monkey's and i can 100% confirm that this staff interacts like any other weapon and phy dmg added from items. Means added phy damage from items is NOT affected by the "increased per str" mod on the staff!

So the normal "inconsistent" formula (compared to eleWDMG) for added phy damage is also used here, means phy dmg from items is only affected by the bandits quest reward and QL on skill gems. So str, weapon mods and phy nodes have no effect on phy damage added from items!

what about multiplicative modifiers? like conc.effect and melee damage on full life.

All gem QL/mods works with item phy dmg, thats for all weapons.

To clarify: Gems work as expected, passive nodes and attributes do not. In comparison EleWDMG nodes also affect item added EleDMG.

Works like any other global "increasing speed" mod found. This means it's added up with all the other "increasing" mods from gems/QL/nodes and applied together.
My Marohi hits for over 14,000 per hit with Infernal Blow. Try to top that with this staff and I'll be very interested in building a character around this item. Keep in mind you can 6L this item.

Wont be possible with this staff and i assume after the supposed "damage revamp" they will make sure this lvl13 unique wont rival a lvl 60 unique.

Also keep in mind its a Staff, this means compared to Marohi u can get around 50% block rate, which a Marohi cant.
Though after the revamp, stacking 1000STR and a lot of +phys damage modifiers can stack up to a lot of damage, though at the cost of a lot of survivability. A fun fun build however! You can make one with the AOE being massive!
