hello first off, I want to say nice build. I was also wondering is there a way to make the same build using the trickster ascendancy. Also, I read somewhere they reworked chains of emancipation and if you can get unaffected by temporal chains you will have max rage every time you lose temporal chains. You prob don't need all that consider you regen rage fast was just wondering if you tried that setup too see if that could work.

Trickster's Ascendancy used to have a notable called Weave The Arcane that granted 30% inc mana, but this notable is now gone. So there's nothing left on the Ascendancy to improve your Rage regen.
Currently, I have 17 Rage regen. Without Hiero, I'm down to 7. And Rage Vortex currently costs me 10.

It's true you could use Chains of Emancipation to get max Rage. I've just realized that Trickster's One Step Ahead ("Your action speed is at least 108% of base value") will negate the effects of Temp Chains. No need to use the Timeclasp ring to be unaffected by Temp Chains.

Compared to the Hiero, you will also lose 1 totem and placement speed.

Also, I'm a bit worried about the nerf to Lightning Strike, which will have only 2 proj at all levels. If only Static Strike was a viable skill, I'd like to use it, but it's so clunky currently.

Hey, sorry for late answer. I haven't played the game lately.
I like the idea but I have never searched the idea of a Scion Jedi. Maybe Hiero+Elementalist if you go with Lightning Strike version.
Hiero+Berserk if you go dark side with Rage Vortex.

Full DPS is shared almost 50/50 between Rage Vortex and the Ancestral totems.
New Attack mastery : nearby enemies are intimidated while you have Rage = 10% more DPS.

The new Volatility support is now the best support for us in both versions, as the difference between min and max dmg is huge with the Energy Blade.
Currently, my 2H-Energy Blade adds 180-3600 lightning dmg.

Any updates for 3.23? I'm getting a late start and skipped last league so I have no idea what would change. Only thing I've heard about is no more helm enchants.

Sorry for late answer. Have been busy with other builds.

Main changes in 3.23 : no more helmet enchants, alternate quality skill gems have been removed. Now, we have Transfigures Gems, that are skill gems with different mechanisms. And a rework of quality bonuses for a lot of gems.

For this build, we gain a bit more ES (Energy Blade removes only 45%) and some dmg with Rage Vortex.
But I haven't played the build for a while. I must say I'm not satisfied with the current playstyle.

I wanted to test Animate Weapon of Reflection, to get copies of the Energy Blade. It works on the paper, but the Weapons die too quickly. There may be potential here. I'll see what I can do.

I'll post infos when I have updated it for 3.23.
