This is absurd.

Ok. Fired up the Lv 60 Witch and headed to what is supposed to be a level 53zone.

Came across 3 Named mobs within 3 rooms, 2 of which gave overlapping auras.

But what I noticed about all three were the had a Stat like ""Regenerates Life"" or ""Leeches Life from Minions""

At first I thought, Who the hells Idea of making a game harder is to add some sort of Faster health regen....

Then this guy:

He doesnt LEECH life, he has an ungodly REGEN when not in a fight and I dont mean like you ran away and returned.

He runs 90-nonthin around the room, attacks, WARPS, then attacks, you get him down to just about dead and he runs away while his health fully regens as does his shield.

What I noticed is that I never got this guy down to less than 1/5th of his life again.

This reminded me of the fight with the Necro last night.

In both fights, I got them down to within seconds of killing them to watch them totally regenerate all their life and completely drain all my Heal potions and Mana.

Hah, sounds like a fun challenge. Cannot wait until I get my new character there.

Finally a use for the life leech immunity passive as well.
"That's how you die properly, Sailor Boy.."
Awesome! can't wait to meet him and get into a 30 minute fight!

Sweaty ass, here I come!
Don't Touch my Sweep please GGG!
Man, another thread about life regen on boss mobs.
Chris mentioned in a post which I cannot find right now that combinations of mods on rare monsters are supposed to potentially be so powerful that the better option is to run rather than to fight.

I think it is adding nice challenge spikes if there are occasionally monsters which I cannot bring down without either special tactics or preparation, a very long fight or by calling in a buddy to help out. Remember in most scenarios such enemies are not preventing you from progressing further as killing them is optional.

That being said, I would like if there were tools in the game the player could use to slow down or oppress monster life regeneration. Good skill candidates for this are puncture or poison arrow, for example.
Disregard witches, aquire currency.
Dont the Poison Arrow just run away, you wont be able to kill him. Unless you hit him with a napalm or Atomic Bomb. These mobs regenerate to full life in 2 seconds.

There is no RUN option, this thing does not just say "" Oh crap, no one wants to play with me.""

It runs at 90-nothin. Its in the first room from the starting room, so as a Witch I am trying to get my only REAL defense and Damage mustered while this thing is running around attacking me and killing the zombies / skeles at the same time.

But, what is absurd is that for no APPEARANT reason, this is not the first BOSS / Named mob I have gotten down to the 1/5th of its life when it suddenly regenerates to full and can not be taken down anywhere close to death again.

ITs almost as if it was programmed specifically to do this.

ITS NOT LEECHING IT IS JUST REGENNING, when you have no zombies, no skeles and your the only thing in the room with it, this becomes very appearant.

Well then maybe it is a Bug.

Hellgate London had these kind of minibosses but there you could stop their regeneration.
