This build is not as optimised as mine that i just theorised although its similar.
You have not taken increased burning damage passives. You have not taken increased area of effect passives. If you did you would be doing like 60% increased burn for like 10k dps righteous. If you take increased area of effect passives then you have 100% IAOE instead of 60% Then with EK lets say you only 4 link it like me and maintain RF constantly. You can do about 4k. 12-14k dps wikh a larger AOE 30k+ armour when granited 85% all resist (93% fire resist) 10-12k hp Still its not that much of a difference... One question i have - ele reflect - does it reflect righteous fire dmg because i dont think it should. It isnt fire dmg its burning dmg. Even if it does - you will negate 93% of it. So it would do about 700dps per mob per sec. Which theoretically should give you time with 12k hp to realise and run away, and ek them instead (which as a combo of phys and ele dmg will be suitably negated) |

Theorizing and Praticing are two different things.
Amp did some choises, some people like me or you did others. Feel free to call this different but not more optimised because its not. Also, you could show us ur build before claiming it more effective. Because if you choose burning/Iaoe, you are automatically in lack of something else. You should inform yourself about the skillmechanics first before theorycrafting some stuff and consider it to be better than a build thats practically approved. Increasing the burning dmg with passives burns yourself even more and thats really nothing you want. Nevertheless i would like to throw in some thoughts to discuss. I play a RF-Marauder myself. And I really cant see why it should be necessary to get iron reflexes. I think evasion is a really nice stat as it is, no need to change it to armor and waste like 5 skillpoints. Maybe someone can do the maths here. But i think keeping the evasion and invest the points into cheaper aura, additional block chance or additional armor are better options. Same counts to innerforce (even if it is possible to outregen it now), the 1% max resist, the 8%ele resist, the 0.5% hp reg (which gets negatet by the increased burning dmg), and the 15% armor of the 3 buffed auras arent worth the 5 skill points you can achieve these way cheaper. I've also chosen the upper way in the dex tree to pass the four life nodes. I think thats way better. I have decent resists on my gear and are still maxed without that 15% all res node. I linked my frostnova to bloodmagic (makes it spammable), blind (let me tank a huge amount of mobs) and added lightning damage btw. And its more a utility skill in my build but works out very well so far. I wonder why no one else has ever done this before. The added lightning dmg will trigger elemental equilibrium twice (once from ice nova dmg and one from lightning dmg) which will result in a -100% fire resist debuff through icenova alone. Although this isnt very effictive in groups (because you raise the cold and lightning resistance for others) i consider it almost the best build for soloing. If you look at my updated build at the bottom, I dropped IR and picked up IF.
I might just totally redo the guide with my new build, we'll see. Also, added lightning doesn't double the resistance reduction of elemental equilibrium so it's totally pointless, you might as well just run iron will. Do you absolutely need GMP for Freezing Pulse, or is LMP also acceptable?

LMP is Acceptable.
GMP is More Optimal. Only thing who would make you use LMP instead of GMP is Mana/Life cost. If you can afford GMP, dont think twice and just use it. Because, despite of less dmg on toolbox, you will get 2 more projectiles who will scaled well with your supports like faster projectiles but also proc Chill/freeze better.
