why would u ever use righteous fire's aura to do damage and kill things...you use the skill to get the 100% more spell power, how is this a mystery to u people

I'm currently using this build not quit outhealing RF yet, im lvl 73, 5k life. I have rise of the phoenix shield and only lvl 19 purity. All res capped at 83% i forgot what m chaos res is, fire res is 91%. It's my first build above level 50 in HArdcore. I was wondering if anyone in this post has a lvl 20 purity i can trade for or buy it would help me out a ton. My purity is currently level 19 now and its taking FOREVER, still not even close :(. Also thanks for the build!

I've just started my own Righteous Fire Marauder build, modeled after your own, because I really want to watch things burn to death. I'm wondering if it would be problematic to take Resolute Technique for use with Ground Slam to level up to 68. Would that hurt the build at all?

How did you manage your mana while leveling up?

I noticed that you took a +30 int node located slightly northeast of Elemental Adaptation. Was that necessary for equipping all the gear/gems you need?

Edit: Sorry for the incessant questions, but your build fascinates me so much! Why did you go out of your way to get Iron Reflexes?

I used mana pots for the most part, I think I tried using a BM gem at one point as well.

You can get resolute technique while leveling and then drop the 2 points once you end up switching to RF.

The int node was necessary to use certain gems.

I got IR because I needed some armour and more resist at the time, I've since switch to a different spec but I don't want to completely remake the guide.

This is my new spec where I use Freezing Pulse with BM, LL and GMP.

I'm on the fence between RF+FP vs RoA..

PS. How do you survive with Inner Force? Doesn't that make RF burn you for more than your Regen can handle in a Life RF build?

Without inner force:

Base regen from talents: 7.4%

Regen from Vitality: 1.5%

so 8.9% total without inner force, you'll have 92 fire regen, so take 8% of your hp in fire dmg/s and you'll regen for a net gain of 0.9% hp/s.

With inner force:

Base regen from talents: 7.4% remains unchanged

Regen from Vitality: 1.5% x 1.3 = 1.95%

so 9.35% total with inner force, you'll have 93% (or 93.2? im not sure if resists round to the nearest % or not), so take 7% x1.3 = 9.1% of your hp in fire dmg/s and you'll regen for a net gain of 0.25% hp/s


All that said I'd recommend only getting inner force if you're planning on using another high dmg ability in your 4L like freezing pulse or potentially EK or w/e.

Otherwise I feel it's better to get more hp nodes or iron reflexes with the other points.

Oh.. I feel dumb. I was thinking 130% of life per second, - 93% = 37%, instead of 7% of 130%.

You mean only use Inner Force if your going to use FP/go caster-oriented?

Do you find yourself squishier without IR/Grace (do u use Determ?)
Would +80% Mana Regen and +36% Mana give you enough to cast a 4-linked FP or is Blood Magic mandatory?
