Linux Compatability?

Will there be a version of this game that runs natively on Linux?

If not, has anyone tried running it in Wine?

I don't believe their are any plans for a Linux version at the moment, and doubt there ever will be :(.

There isn't really enough people using linux to justify making a linux version. So probaly not.

Yes, because 30 million Linux users (mostly servers) want to play Path Of Exile.

i always say the same thing about this.
you want to play games get windows.

cant expect people to develop for operating systems that were never ment to see games.
i can understand mac cause it has a huge share nowadays on the pc market but linux is just server software and for geeks being dumb raging about windows.

Im not familiar with linux/virtualbox, but atlest that way you can run windows inside linux.

Oh and wine too.

Im not completely sure how it will work with games tho.

probably originally scheduled client for windows, because the graphical part uses directx (but i'm not sure)

so, has anyone tested if it runs on linux using wine?

unfortunately I haven't got a beta key yet,

so here's the deal.. if no one else is willing to,
send me a key and I'll test under linux/wine and let you know how it goes asap ;)
