Anonymity does not give any of you an excuse to be disrespectful to another person. Grow up.

OP, I'm sorry to see you go. If you ever want to try the game again, PM me and I'll help you out with some items.

Respect is earned where I come from.
Come in here crying how you got hacked and the devs give no support, your gonna get flamed.
Pretty simple. If he got hacked he likely made a mistake somewhere, not the devs fault but likely his. Even if by some miracle he got hacked by no fault of his own(roomate or whatever) saying the devs don't care or gave no support is ridiculous.

If respect is earned, shouldn't disrespect be earned also? Neutrality is one thing, but most of these posts are vicious.

Regardless of the reasoning for his account being stolen (let's stop calling it "hacked", by the way, since that's not the right term at all), his situation is demoralizing and merits his frustration.

Yes, it should. My posts in here have been pretty neutral(except to one idiot who earned it). But I do feel this post was asking for the flaming.
The game does not adapt to you, you adapt to it.

I'm not asking for flaming. I have a secure email. I don't download anything third party and I still got hacked. Every flame here(including yours) is based on an assumption that I am stupid. This community is the nail in the coffin for me. I'm telling everyone I know about the community and support of this game. Thanks guys, this was...awful...

Well then since you're so smart answer this?
How did you determine your email is secure if your account was compromised?
By that token did you deem your poe account to be secure as well? Or did you somehow determine it wasn't beforehand because I find it ironic you think your email is secure due to the safeguards in place for this exact reason.
You want to try and say GGGs flawed security is a result of this? Give me a single logical explanation as to why someone would target a 1-33 account full of garbage if they could use their proxies to brute high level players? Same investment in time and resource since your email and passwords were supposedly secure .
IGN: Rangerzyzz
Contact me in game if I'm outbid or win.
If I can't be reached PM me.
I download a lot of crap/music/p**n/other stuff and never gotten hacked once... It's called being smart and secure. I run about 2 anti-viruses, and frequently run scans and fix vulnerability issues and what not. It seems that you're just too stupid to protect yourself. I don't know how you can blame this game or it's creators. What is it with todays generation and not being able to take blame, oh and im 19 and saying this :)
IGN: UrName(Standard)

IGN: Mr_Freezy(Anarchy) or S_P_O_R_K_E_R (Anarchy, usually on this one now for farming)

or just add AMC93
Here is a checklist for you.
Do you use the same password on any forums/Games?
Have you changed your password to something that you have never used before and the problem persists?

If yes to the first question it is possible somebody hacked into other forums and ran passwords to match poe accounts.

If yes to the second one you have some how gotten yourself keylogged and it is sending all your keystrokes to the person.

You are being hacked because of something that you or somebody who uses your computer has done, Nothing to do with GGG.
It's either, one of your friends has your password or you got key logged/phished no company in their right mind will compensate for user error.

I change my email password every 30 days. I used a token from my email to log in to find my items gone. It was their database that was hacked. Not my email. Do not pretend to know how I got hacked. No one here has proof who's fault it is. All I know is this is the first time I've ever had a hacked account and I am just a normal guy, not doing anything crazy. I work full time, cant level up much, not sure why they target my lvl 33 guy, but they did. That and this community full of kids? Yeah, maybe I'm just getting to old for games. I'm 25.

No and yes, I didn't download anything for this game and my system is showing up clean when running a scan. Anything else?
