3.7 Voidslayer - Voidforge(not Starforge btw) Cyclone Slayer - Uber Elder 1.56min
Hi and welcome to my take on the new Cyclone era.
Uber Elder 1.56min: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fExn349143o
Shaper 100-0: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pF4Wyehn_rk
Uber Atziri: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BgqZqhZTIrE
These are without Frostbomb.
Not expensive, but i would not say its cheap either.
Tanky and agile
Can run physical reflect since we cant do physical damage.
All these gemswaps and buff changes...
Resbalancing due to The Wise Oak.
Passive tree/Path of Building/Pantheons/Bandits:
Voidforge interaction in PoB
Ascendency order: Headsman > Bane of legends > Overwhelm > Impact
Voidforges main mod does not work in PoB, so replace the 300% dmg line with
Gain 100% of Weapon Physical Damage as Extra fire Damage
Gain 100% of Weapon Physical Damage as Extra cold Damage
Gain 100% of Weapon Physical Damage as Extra lightning Damage
Bandits: Help Alira.
Major: Soul of Lunaris
Minor: the one you like, Soul of Yugol for Uber Atziri.
Soul of Ryslatha or Garukhan is the most useful ones i guess.
How the build works:
Flat physical damage and Crit multiplier is our best friends because we're using Voidforge.
Rings: we're using a Mark of the Elder coupled with a rare Shaped Ring in order to enable the 60-80% inc attack damage mod.
Getting assassins mark on the Shaped ring would be great.
Resistances are important to balance since we're using both The Wise Oak and Voidforge. We do all types of elemental damage.
Im using Clarity because mana started to become an issue after i got the Attack speed enchant on boots.
What/how to gear:
Body armour: Kaoms heart
Head: Starkonja or Devoto's Devotion
Belt: Stygian Vise with res, life, eledmg with attacks. Ele dmg/cold/lightning dmg is a nice bonus also.
Boots: Rare boots, Life, res, crafted ms/onslaught.
Gloves: Tomb fist or Spiked gloves with res, life, flat phys. Attack speed is a nice bonus.
Phys to cold conversion is good also.
Amulet: Rare Amulet with life, flat phys, Crit multiplier, phys as extra cold, lightning or fire. Crit chance or res are nice bonuses.
Ring1: Mark of the Elder
Ring2: Rare shaped Ring with Life, res, flat phys, ele damage with attacks/cold/lightning damage. Assassins mark is a nice bonus. The most important stat is -7 mana cost since Cyclone drains mana very fast.
The Wise oak
We use every elemental damage in the game so it suits the build very well, you have to balance your resistance with it
Great damage increase.
Best damage flask in game, for critbuilds.
Has to have either Curse removal/immunity, or crafted crit on it(new in 3.5 Betrayal)
The last two flasks can either be 2 life flasks or 1 life flask and 1 quicksilver flask if you feel the need for more speed.
Cyclone(not vaal cyclone) + Elemental damage with attacks + Fortify + Melee Phys/Pulverise + Conc effect/Inc Area + Infused channeling
Blood and sand / Herald of purity / Blood rage / Hatred
CWDT + Steelskin / Clarity
Leap slam / Vaal Ancestral Warchief / Enduring Cry / Frost Bomb
Any Critmultiplier we can get
Might need some Int if u lack it
Res can also be good since we need to balance it.
Flat phys all the way
We can also use a Watchers eye for Hatred.
The best mod is the %crit one, but it can be expensive.
Penetration is the 2nd best one.
Head: Blood rage attack speed, Cyclone speed/damage or Ancestral warchief 30% inc melee damage enchant.
Gloves: Doesnt matter, some of the on hit ones i guess.
Boots: Penetration if you havent killed is probably the best one.
When i got the Attack speed on kill, i started to have mana issues, even with -7 cost which is why i added a Clarity gem to the build.
You level with Frost blades at start, get Ancestral call asap from Tidal Island quest.
It helps alot for clearing.
Can also add Chance to bleed, Ruthless, Lesser poison and Onslaught support for extra damage and movement speed.
Since mana can be an issue while using Cyclone, i would not suggest start using it once you get it at 28, unless you got a -mana cost ring.
Weapons: Screaming eagles x2, at level 32 we swap to either The Gryphon x2 or lvl 33 Reapers Pursuit.
Once you are lvl 51, start using Terminus est till you get Voidforge.
Amulet: The karui ward can use all the way through campaign.
Boots: Wanderlust, swap to Victarios Flight at level 12.
Gloves: Lochtonial Caress, Tombfist at level 36 if needed.
Belt: Meginords Girdle all the way up to level 68 to be replaced by a Stygian.
Body: Tabula rasa(best with +2 to melee gems or projectile gems)
Helm: Asenath mark(the Int might be hard to come by for this), at lvl 23 u can use The Peregrine anyways. There is always ye ol' Goldrim also.
Uber Atziri setup:
Due to Atziris damage reflection we have to swap out our Mark of the elder ring for a Sibyl's lament(in the left ring socket).
We also pick the Soul of Yugul pantheon for even more reflect protection.
If i've missed something or made an error, please Enlighten me and i'll fix it.
Im available here and ingame for questions.
Man Mode 2H Frost blades
Unleash the Bees! SRS Necro
2H Lightning Strike Deadeye
Berserker Physical Reave

Hi, I will be rolling my own cyclone with voidforge or other 2H weapon, not sure yet. When bying Voidforge, is important to have high pDPS roll? This item confuses me.

Its not THAT important, f.ex
If i change the phys from 100% to 50%, it loses 500k dps in a 4.5m setup.
So its not really that important, its more of a min/max thing.

Is this build possible as champion or is slayer inevitable?
on Jun 21, 2019, 6:57:43 AM
Hey, it is viable as champion, you will lose out on damage and area tho so i would say its a lesser choice.
You will be able to swap out Tombfist since you will be picking "First to strike, last to fall".
Some accuracy nodes might be swaped out also due to not being able to miss.
The Fortify, impale and banners nodes are totally useless for this build.
So the nodes you'll be picking is Unstoppable hero, first to stirke, conqueror and worthy foe.

Thanks you for your advice. I had a light claw build on my low champion, so I need to adjust the gems etc. ;-)

Your tree is pretty different from all the other slayer builds. Is it more worth going towards the rightside of the tree than to the left?
