Consistent Lag spikes linked to specefic Australian backhaul internet provider

Another trace run from 7pm (the beginning of the lag-storm). Any updates on this?

Another night of unplayable lag, another trace.
Issue persists. Have tested it on multiple computers now.

Here is my WinMTR log recorded during bad latency at around 9:30-9:45pm AEDT.

Note that the latency displayed in game often spikes far higher than the numbers listed here (often to ~250ms and sometimes 1000+), including while the WinMTR was being recorded.

Yeah, WinMTR isn't supposed to be a direct representation of ingame latency - to my understanding, WinMTR works by consistently sending very tiny data packets to a server and timing how long it takes between jumps to the different nodes. So, even a 150ms ping time can indicate very serious lag spikes when dealing with the larger data packets created by PoE gameplay. I'm no expert, but this is my (very basic) understanding of it.

And yeah, for me, I have been experiencing "hangs" or rubber banding - buff timers freeze, monsters stop moving, skills are unusable/lagged out - sometimes for periods of 30 seconds to a minute or longer before the rubber band "snaps" back. I feel like the phrase is overused, but it's accurate here - literally unplayable.
I'm not qualified to know what this means but I would add that the WinMTR numbers look similar through the afternoon when everything is running smoothly, and the game is consistently displaying 15-17ms.

This WinMTR was done around 4pm AEDT today with no lag issues:

Any ideas, support team?

Let us know either way please - we may have to change provider if you don't have a solution.
Here is from Sunday evening. The worst I have experienced it, completely unplayable.

Sometimes my phone internet isn't great either, this essentially prevents me from playing.

Every day around 05:30-06:00pm it becomes unplayable for me. This is a massive problem. I just tried Uber Elder and lost at least 4 portals due to lag.

The graph in game just goes horizontally flat and there's no update for several seconds, frequently.

This experience is so frustrating that I'll spend my time with other activities now.

I just wish we could get some kind of update/reply on this. Been F5'ing this thread constantly... At this stage I'm still using my phone internet to play during the lag-storm, but when I run out of data I'm going to be forced to go and play other games instead too. Good thing I held off on buying a supporter pack this league.
In addition to GGG we all should also engage Mate Communicate. They should investigate the issue and likely have means to mitigate as well.

Will send the WinMTR output to mate's support for investigation.

I have been in contact with them.

They contacted Vocus on my behalf but Mate has twice now told me that Vocus "cannot comment on speeds experienced when gaming on various servers".

However, Mate also told me that Vocus "have found that there is no particular reason why you should be experiencing these issues", so go figure.
lol
