I'm going to laugh then cry if their shops starts selling exp/loot buff potions and increases in stash size.

I always play F2P games up until that point.
As soon as I see a pay to win item I quit - cruel cycle but usually I at least get a month or two worth of play before that point. Here's to hoping GGG doesn't become money hungry like most devs.
Blizzards North D3 project 2001-2005

GGG Started Developing in 2005

Game is called "Path of EXILE"

Also this ARPG shares quality, feel. atmosphere from the old D2..

Ooooh mysteries

I really like this comparison, as there is definitely an influence from Blizzard North but it's not a flat out copy. I think if the advertising for this game is successful (think of all the "great" games that never had a chance because no-one new about them), then GGG will have a hit on their hands. Hail GGG!
Looks amazing! Keep up the great work GGG! Can't wait to play!
You KNOW!
Kokoro, where did i said diablo 3 is Blizzard North in my post? please tell me . I only gave diablo 3 website as good looking website example.
I wouldn't call them the new Blizzard North because I feel it discredits them for their own authentic work. Also, GGG seems to be a lot more transparent with what they're trying to accomplish (for example, Blizzard would never think to allow live streaming of their beta tests, regardless of whether a tester got permission) and closer with their fan base than Blizzard ever was: before or after Blizzard North had been disbanded.

I feel they're building upon what Diablo and games like it have accomplished, and putting their own spin on things; which is what any truly innovative developer does within a pre-existing genre.

Smaller companies have their niche. They tend to relate better to the actual player. When the companies get too large they lose that focus.

Too late to tell, but we'll see.

After watching some of the videos and beta feeds I'm really impressed by GGG approach to their project. Not only they put lots of passion in every small detail but also they do listen to players and make this game as funny to play as possible.

It was the same with Condor which was later bought by Blizzard and renamed to Blizzard North. A small pack of dungeon crawler passionates made one of the best ARPG in the computer game history.

Do you think GGG have a chance to repeat Max, Erich and David's tremendous success and mix with the big guys? Compared to Blizzard/Activision conglomerate they are underdogs but it seems they have that "something" which Blizzard already lost.

I am so with you with all this. If you could hear my hand clapping after i saw this lol :D.
I'm just happy I found this game. I was so looking forward to Diablo 3 until some of the more recent updates decided to break my heart.
Yeah I must also say from what i seen of this game it looks and feels interesting so i am definately more interested in trying this game. Compared to all the new stuff Blizzard are doing with Diablo 3 i feel that F2P model for this sort of game can work, and i really want GGG to be succesfull in there goal for developing a high quality Free 2 Play Loot game with optional pay model. I be sure to support the developers with some Paying if i like what i play.

But in my mind GGG is a awesome developer thats for sure :)
