Hi all. Decided to try this build this season, doing fairly well so far and wanted to post my initial thoughts. First thanks alot to OP. Doesn't seem to be an overly popular thread but this build is quality, and I'm sure we all appreciate your ongoing updating of the build and answering questions. Thanks buddy.

I have recently acquired an assassin's mark on hit ring and I feel this is the necessary way to go. My other ring is a massive stat stick for STR and dex. Right now my crit feels ok, I'm actually surprised at how often it crits despite such low (23%) sheet crit chance. No doubt a result of assassin's mark and diamond flask.

What are the best auras to use with this build? Right now I'm using discipline, Herald of ice and dread banner. For no other reason than I saw OP doing it :) What do we benefit from dread banner anyway? I'm just using it for fortify on bosses right now.

Energy leech seems to be the best 3rd gem in cospris. I'm still low level but for mapping it's more than enough along with Vile Bastion. I took one of the new ES skill clusters then dropped it and didn't notice any difference.

Warlords Mark is totally unnecessary. My mana is always full even with zero mana leech, thanks to Alira bandit choice and Arcane Surge. I'm not even close to being careful how I use my cyclone either.

Have a lot of gear upgrades to do but so far it feels good.

Ps: if anyone takes a look at my tree it's very much a work in progress. Currently switching pathing to be more efficient so it may look odd until I get another 10 regrets

3.02 aps max without a cdr and 3.77 aps max with 14% CDR to be exact.

Im getting 24/7 freezed all the time when i forget flask ... what can i do?
There isn't a way to ''cannot be frozen'' ?

Hey I swapped over to this build from my cheesy vortex/cold snap CI Occultist.
Got pretty bored of him and wanted to switch it up after farming uber elder for a week .
Main concern with this build right now is the crit chance.
Im really unsure of how you figured to get enough to always crit. I sometimes run in to a pack of mobs and it wont crit for a while which isnt the best thing to happen for a COC build ;d.
im at 10k e.s right now and the damage is seeming pretty solid but I could use some tips on how to increase my crit chance .

I dont have time to check your PoB right now (@work) but Im pretty sure you dont have Elder Vaal Regalia with +2 to base crit chance. So untill you get one use the brand new assassins mark curse which does the same thing. I tested AM Blasphemy together with Discpline and Herald of Ice (lvl 3 enlighten is enough) vs end game content on standard and it worked like a charm. Also pop up your Diamond flask everytime you encounter large pack or dangerous mob to start the crit rolling.

I had the same concerns and settled on doing it the normal assassin way. While the Occultist method is probably reasonable, with the ES costs this league if you are like me and prefer to buy vs craft your gear, its really shaky cause the ES version requires a lot more non unique items--where life uniques and life rares are super cheap this league (i got a 130 hp/5% health/1% regen 6L with 50 ish resists for just over 1 EX).

That said the CI version might ultimately end up being better. I think with infinite funds it certainly could be tankier at least.
