1)Hypothermia is used because you get cold damage on abyss jewels for spells. So you can chill/freeze enemies and in that way you get more defense because enemies are slower and do more damage thanks to hypothermia. If you can't get abyss jewels at start use herald of ice. Its what i did.
2)Remove burning damage and insert controlled destruction. Ignite / burn damage do so little damage its just not worth it.

No flasks active, no gimmicks in checkmarks, boss checked shaper/guardians. Even if you check most poe.ninja guys you will see i'm doing like 3x or 4x more damage then they are. You can still do 2 or even 3x more damage then guys who going burning damage just by going straight damage and picking up phase acrobatics. I skipped it because I play softcore and wanna do endgame with this char. Will see how it goes.

Can you let me know what items stats to look out for?

Presumably +Fire Damage and +Spell Damage, but what else aside from the usual high life res rolls?
Get at least one gem with hindred.
Get cast speed. Helps a lot.
Craft on weapon spell damage + extra chaos damage. I was looking for sceptre with high cast speed and added fire damage and then just crafted spell damage + extra chaos damage. weapon and craft cost me 19c. And it gives tons of damage. Could prolly get more damage with wand anyway. Your choise.

% of damaged taken regen as mana on rings/amulet is damn amazing craft. Wont help against DoT damage but will be amazing vs heavy hitters. You'll see.

Uhm, you're wrong with hypothermia.
It triggers with your Beacon of Ruin, so you're wrong.

I have no issues what so ever in clearing T15 maps with this build, albeit a bit modified, but the build itself is the same.
I wasn't wrong. But there was no explanation on first post why you use hypothermia. After reading more it was explained. So... thats ok. Sorry for that.


But i'm not saying that build is bad. It's just can be better just skipping everything about burn/ignite because even on gem with lvl 21 armageddon you have 183% more ignite damage its just not enough. Skip burn/ignite go straight damage and you will do just better. I know that most people are using your passive tree but its not best way how to do it. Just saying.

In PoB:

My PoB with checked shaper/guardians, chilled and ignited shows 190k DPS.

Even my gear could be better its not 100k difference.

You only use Vaal RF, you dont use normal RF.

Switch to a one handed sceptre & shield with either a tabula rasa or a 5L/6L Carcass Jack. I really don't recommend going with the staff build as you lose out on damage & resists.
