POE sure seems to be losing a lot of steam

All I see is blah blah blah by many of the same whiners over and over again. Hey, if you are dissatisfied ask for a refund....oh wait...
This thread and the multi-boxing threads are the reason why it doesn't matter how much evidence or reason you collect over X amount of time -- delusion, ignorance and naivety will always usurp the inconvenient truth.
You will never see a man faking anger, passion and relentless behavior.

You will always see a man faking love, politeness and respectful behavior.
No one talks about the flood of accounts compromised?

I had 10 people on my friends list, it's down to 2. More than half the people on my flist were stripped of all gear.

And, when you lose your gems, you might as well of deleted your char. Getting a lvl 19 gem is like 80 character lvls.

No, in closed beta it was less content. Less fixes* as well. Something is different. I mean I played all through dec and jan, seeing people continue to play. But, ever since sometime around feb 20, players started dropping like flies. Could be the weather, but, ultimately I think social trends like the docks, are a bit frustrating. Felshrine was larger, and more entertaining somehow.

One more thing to note, people were alot more sincere to each other about drops goto name, and maps goto creator. Because closed beta didn't matter. But, now people are fighting over everything even if rules were attempted to established.
man, people on the forums always try to make it sounds like it's the end of the world. forums are like grand canyons of tears for any game.

go check out the league of legends forums. if you do, i guarantee you'll leave thinking that riot is going bankrupt, all characters are OP, all chars are weak, all ranked matches are useless, etc

on the WoW forums it was always the same. blizzard sucks, items are too hard to get, items are too easy to get.

on here it's just a daily thing where someone will make one big popular thread where they cry about stuff.

whatever happened to real traditional forums? why are they always inhabited by the most whiny and lazy players in the community?

Is it really so hard to prevent getting hacked? During the 11+ years of my time on the internet, I haven't once had an account stolen, and I've used the same password on many sites (obviously not the important ones). There's really nothing GGG can do about it other than add e-mail verification since it really isn't their fault.

It's like they said, if someone actually hacked into player's accounts as a result of a security fault from GGG, they'd go for the top players.
1. Do as little visiting of 3rd party PoE websites as possible.
2. Choose appropriate passwords.
3. Use an email for your account that allows for appropriate security (2step verification etc).

Id be shocked if someone still got "hacked".

+1 one for this man right here.

If you like the game play it, If you don't like it leave. GGG will see the trends in there numbers and decide if they haft to change things or not. I believe they know 99% of peoples problems with the game, and they have there own game plan on what to fix/remove/update but it all cant be done over night cuz guess what..... it's a beta of a small deveeloper. An unfinished one at that so along the list of fix's they have content they are testing and developing internally. this is not Blizzard or Riot or another developer with a team of 100+ ppl working on the game. If you are frustrated with the game don't play it, but i suggest you keep a look out for anything they implement and if you think you might like it try it out. Or wait for full release

and if your problem is you got hacked and lost all your stuff you have 2 options go play another game...from the start or start this game over. It comes down to do you enjoy playing the game?
I just stopped playing for now because of my computer really lacks the power to keep up.

My friends that do play only play HC and my computer has too many spikes where it just slow to nothing with a whole lot going on the screen I lost a level 27 maruder because of the graphics spike. and im not talking about lag spikes though i get those sometimes too

On top of that I have to play threw a mac port that juluis did. which he did a great job on doing it threw wine but main reason why computer just cant handle it at all.

So though I enjoy the game getting to level 10 is a chore for because the graphics maybe if they did a low graphics option or something then I could try again till then i have to prob wait till december till I can update my PC

Really not the best attitude to take. I see this a lot on the forums. This kind of high and mighty attitude towards everyone who has legitimate complaints about the game is just a recipe for having your Path of Exile end a lot sooner than it would otherwise.

happy and people still complain. What are they gonna have to do, have races run 24/7?

Here are two solutions.

1) Each account can register for a region locked schedule of races.
2) Each account can select when to start that days race(s). Multiple accounts will create issues here and people will have to wait to see who actually won.

If they're only getting a few thousand people trying races even on the weekends, it's clearly not a big priority though.
