POE sure seems to be losing a lot of steam

The numbers from google trends and XFire both show a drastic drop in interest in the game since OB launch.

If those numbers are anywhere near being accurate, I hope that GGG ends up polling accounts that stopped playing to get their reasons.

My opinion is that after desync, they need to focus on much a better trading system, much better low level combat experience and much much better art direction in the first 2 acts. I think there are major issues with the way the races are run as well but those only cater to a small percentage of the population.

^That right there is what GGG had in mind when they made POE. So the so called steam loss not that big of a deal its mostly people that couldnt handle the game.

Best business model ever. What small business owner does not chant that mantra, 'get out of my store! I only serve "a small percentage of the population" and will never grow or create wealth.'

Joking aside, don't fool yourself, if PoE is (and I think it is) a huge success, and massive, they would not shy away the money/business.

damn hipsters...

Your confusing a bookstore with a supermarket buddy, one caters to people who are interested in books and nothing else the other to a lot of other things for a lot of people. As for the hipster thing if it was intended for me... i rather be a hipster than a trendy fuck ;). If not Peace man.

All of us have made it to end game.

Not much to do, so spend less and less time playing PoE.

Most of us ARE WAITING FOR CUTTHROAT LEAGUE.

When will they implement?

The rest of the 'end-game' content will be available along with a heap of new stuff when the game launches in a few months time. From what I've seen it's going to be awesome. - Michael_GGG

1: Don't be mad, yes the comment you made sounded like a hipster. I see that highly offended you, I am sorry.

2: No book store will send people away because they 'don't serve a larger portion of the public.'

This idea you have does not hold sound reason. Bookstore or Super market, if they can sell an item, deliver profit, stay in business longer, they will.

Even Starbucks was indie at one point.

Now get your fecking shine box you hipster :)

of course they will send them awawy if they say we sell books and the customer says i want to buy potatoes... And it has been said before that financialy they are ok more than ok. So no need to worry. So deal with it. Its exclusive if you want potatoes go to the right store. :P

You are going dropoff after release just from the shear fact that lots of people tried it cause it was the shiny new thing. Now it isn't. The only way to tell true health is long term.

the new shiny toy is Crysis, and soon to be GoW/Tomb Raider.

Now my friend, you're confusing association with causation.

Good luck :)

fyi, I want the game to be a hit, and see lots of money come to GGG.
