Berseker rage and Damage over time Penalty
Besides the Debuff, when you sell the asedancy as the ultimate damage dealer, the supreme glass cannon, it also does not make sense to have to build it OVERTIME. Trash mobs gets one shotted with mediocre damage as you just look at them, not hit them. If you have to actually BUILD it in a boss fight.... Well boses already die in seconds, no point. And again with the DoT debuff you lose the second best damage dealing support in the game - Damage on full life
For me it should be : When you hit or get hit you become enraged: 50% increased attaack speed, 25% increased damage, some movement speed, 10% increased damage taken. The second perk: 100% increased damage, 50% speed, double movement speed, cannot be stunned, 20% increased damage taken. Certainly not great but a huge improvement in functionality |

I think it would be much cooler if the penalty wasn't hp drain. I think it should be defense based, like the berserker is going all out offensively and ignoring things like blocking or evading etc... That would be more thematic, less annoying, and still a decent defensive penalty.
An example would be: 0.5% reduced global defenses per rage or: 0.5% less chance to block/evade/dodge, and 0.5% less physical damage reduction per rage etc... This and on kill buffs are useless, the last thing anyone needs is more damage for trash and if you did, a respec/reroll would serve you better.

You just need to go CI. The degen becomes irrelevant and you can use damage on full life easily.

The reward vs cost just seems off. 50% increased damage, 25% attack speed, 10% movement speed, for 10% unmitigated life per second. Especially the second node doubling this effect just seems as a noob trap. 20% unmitigated life per second; That's almost RF on 75% resist degen. How are you ever going to sustain that?

so assuming 6k life, at full 20% degen, a simple life flask will offset the degen to be about zero.
As far as rage ramp up, basically if you aren't stopping to loot garbage, you should be at full rage at all times and be leeching it back. you will keep it up during boss fights if you take crave the slaughter. even without it, and just using warcries, you will sustain your rage the entire map. at max stacks, easily offset by 1 hp potion. Unless you are a loot whore, then yes zerker is going to suck for you now. so 100% attack damage, with 50% attack speed, and free 25% movespeed making your kaom boots feel so so sweet. for a degen you won't even know is happening, 1 second is a long time in the game. and you will either be leeching it cause you will have insane attack speed. Or you can offset it with warcries, or OMG the combo of both. which is what it looks like they want you to do. warcry, blood slaughtering with no slow down. Add on cloaked in savagery, and you will have a huge amount of damage. with the attack speed you can run any weapon and it will feel fast. Add on shaper / elder gear on your chests and holy hell the damage. Bottom line they just doubled bezeker damage and at a penalty of simply using a life flask to offset the negative. OMG noo.... I will have to carry a life flask. OMG the horror. |

" You do realize that you only get 8 points to allocate. You can't get everything... Most builds will pick Cloaked in Savagery, Aspect of Carnage, Pain Reaver, and Crave the Slaughter or War Bringer. If builds are going go to Rite of Ruin, then they might as well play Slayer because it's a far better Ascendancy than Berserker for that because that means you either have to take out Cloaked in Savagery or Aspect of Carnage which wouldn't make any sense for most builds. In the end Berserker is just getting a rage bar that is going to harm them more than help them. I don't know why War Bringer has rage generation at all.
