PoE as nothing to back it up and at first sight of pvp poeple dont want multi-boxer.
I should do as you alway say and go "trust me having played 90% of MMORPG/ARPG PvP and the like i can assure you that this is what 90% of the player base doesn't want."
Also allowing such pety thing as multi-boxing brought in more skilled hacker program maker and the like in d2 ending in item dupping massive botting that could never be dealt with and even webpage purely dedicated to IRL selling of d2 item.
If that is the consequence you wish for zalm then keep on approving of multi-boxing.
If you mean (trade site from D2 history) or whatever, it happens when the game gets botted to death and people need somewhere to go for good trades of in game items for in game items without buying crap with real money. Did RMT happen on jsp? probably, but it doesnt turn over the fact that the trade system here is much better than D2. The forums act like d2jsp does, so we dont need one.
And if your argument to not allow multiboxing is the 'slippery slope' argument or the 'gateway drug' shot, its piss poor and worthless. If that was the case, then trading on the forums is a gateway to trading for real money, which is a bannable offense, same way it was bannable to bot.
and I dont think PvP multiboxing has been touched on yet, but since I dont PvP anyway, I cant fight for or against that.
I got warned about mentioning certain sites that have had RMT in the past, so I edited myself.
If i remember D2 already had a forum that could be used for trading even tougth not specialized.
D2 slowly started with people using multiple witch barb etc at same time, then came the people who said ehck it too hard to do manualy il keyclone it,closely followed by the one saying heck wasting too much time on this let bot it,followed by more and more and more until unfortunately, blizzard cant deal with it anymore.
I do not wish to see this happen to PoE but by personal experience with big popular mmorpg/arpg PoE as pretty high chance to be headed in the same direction.
BTW your counter argument about my argument on the "why whe should not allow multi-boxing" stand at about the same value at which you estimated mine, which i guess rate in the it not relevant/it weak/idc or more precisely "piss, poor and worthless".

There are legitimate reasons whether or not multi-boxing should be allowed. There needs to be a rational discussion about it. What doesn't help is the misconceptions about it, and that's what I want cleared up.
My only concern would be Cut-Throat Leagues. That's a real, legitimate concern that would need to be addressed. Everything else is misconceptions and parroting the same incorrect beliefs.
I agree....multiboxing needs to be looked into for a few reasons, but until then GGG says its ok and I will defend them.
Also...multiboxing is not multilogging.

Lol, arguing the semantics. You're precious. And if you multi you're bad, and you know it. Thankfully you will only ruin softcore.

I claimed that multiboxing encourage type of player that wanted easy farm to try it and by logical mean one would after assume that automatic > Human thus multiboxing did provide as starting point to aid int he research of how to acquire currency/gold/worthy item more easly even if in illegal manner by first using allowed but highly disregarded manner such as multi-boxing.

you didnt prove us right or wrong, your trying to prove yourself right.
And just because all those games had bots and multiboxers doesnt mean the botters started out multiboxers. Its a hazy proof at best. I dont buy it.

That's not how it works. You make the claim, you provide proof. You claimed that multiboxing directly contributed to the development of bots and duping. The onus is on you to provide proof.
Unicorns exist and they killed my mother! Prove they didn't. See how ignorant that kind of logic is?
Isn't that what you've been saying this whole time, about how it doesn't affect the economy or ruin the game, but you fail to provide any proof or examples in which any of this is factual, but when the obvious question arises we have to proof an obviously abusive method, is obviously abusive?
congratulations, you've de-leveled from pro-googler to uninformed idiot.
As for the "ban waves" they didn't happen, I just checked the demon buddy forum to confirm, and the first bannings post was july, and they only banned a few accounts, further confirmation would probably be the fact that I was botting at that time for around 24/7 for around 2 weeks by then.
Oh, so we're supposed to take the word of a confirmed botter now? Your way of proving your point involves admitting that you're a dishonest person. Got it.
I've already explained how it doesn't effect the economy. Go reread my earlier posts.
Frankly I'm getting sick of the insults. Either discuss the topic like an adult or bow out.

Either you buy it or not IDC,some people will buy it (i buy it) those people will complain and those complain could eventualy bring change to your so loved multi-boxing.
I don't need to prove you right i only need to prove the audience right and i would say right now Me > you as you havent provided anything even close to "hazy" to prove me wrong.

Trying to disprove us by hearsay and rhetoric does nothing. We proved they had ban waves in the form of links directly from the soruce. You simply claim it didnt happen.
I can also claim I was on the moon yesterday, but and even if you provide proof I wasnt, I can always claim I was on the dark side of the moon.
