Elder needs to be toned down. Plan and simple

He indirectly says what the problem is. We shouldn't need 1 mil+ DPS builds to do an Elder battle means GGG shouldn't be allowing for builds to get that much DPS in the first place. Then GGG can nerf Elder damage down some knowing that no one can create a 1 mil+ build and trivialize the battle. but elder isnt balanced around 1M dps, hes perfectly manageable with low dps builds as long as you have good sustain and dont ignore adds, there is no enrage, there is no hard dps check beyond being able to kill low HP adds faster then they spawn. I had zero issues soloing t15 elder after both friends died repeatedly on him very early and he had three man HP and I dont even have uber dps build, just regular ngamahu cyclone.

this "you need 1M dps for endgame bosses" is noob trap, you only need it when youre terrible at mechanics so you have to blow them up before they do any of them...

Of course you don't need 1m to do end game, but in long run clear speed matters. Or you will be poor forever. Game is now designed that way do maps quickly or be homeless.

I dont even understand the logic? There are very few builds that have great both clearspeed AND boss dmg, you either pick some meta build for clearspeed, like nowadays lighpoacher EK nova or something similar and skip bosses or you roll boss killing char which you play, when you want to kill the bosses. Or you might pick something universally decent that can clear all the content at its own pace and is cheap enough you dont need to chain run hundreds of maps just to afford its GG items...

But dont complain about not being able to kill boss if you either pick clearpseed build or you invent your own build, that has trash dps and you dont gear properly, its easy as that. ESPECIALLY when it comes to Elder, which you fight once in a blue moon and he has long, unskippable phase anyway, you already sacrifice mapclear jus to fight him, the extra two minutes on him every two hours arent going to ruin you...

4.1k hp is incredibly low. Just saying
