Black Friday through to Cyber Monday Weekend Sale!

Check the spreadsheet that was linked earlier, it should come back at like 11am two days later then. Cycle repeats after 58 hours (so there should be 58 different MTX sales).

But the skill effects have been disappointing so far. The only ones I've seen are the demonic skill effects.

It gets updated maybe once a day if that and in my experience it has not been even slightly accurate.
Patch Notes 3.15:
Fixed a bug where players believed the game was playable. This has been corrected and made retroactive.
Patch Notes 3.19:
Fixed a bug where players adapted to 3.15. This bug cannot be corrected, so we have implemented a 90% reduction in item access as a punishment.
please show me the link to this sheet I wanna know what to buy.

Therefore, any plain points purchases you make from the time that the War for the Atlas Supporter Packs became available can be used in a future upgrade to the Abyss Supporter Packs.

Does it work for xbox, yes or no ?

If you are disappointed about it, why don't you just refuse to buy anything from the sale?

Same logic, why don't you just spend your money and shut up?

The sycophancy is real.

Sorry dude, GGG isn't gonna date you if you cape hard enough.

Except no way to do that from within the game, and no assurance that will even work with these temporary sales.

GGG should rename this the "Whiny little entitled bitches sale!".

They were going to but they already named it the "Pathetic corporate toadie" sale an hour before your brilliant suggestion.

I love the Internet because of people like you. GGG should thank you for carrying them and improving their sales. Of course they'll thank themselves instead because of people like Aldora.

Well, hopefully your increase in sales from psychologically manipulating your playerbase will be large enough to offset the number of people who will outright refuse to buy anything out of principle.

Sadly I suspect it will. It seems a universal truth that the shadiest practice is the most profitable one.

Exploiting loss aversion for example. Even the haters are paying attention to the sale, and that's the ultimate goal of any advertising ploy.

Those using a list will feel like they gamed the system when in fact the system being gamed is their own emotions.

GGG runs a casino, not a game.

Worked perfect for me. I built a quick spreadsheet of the items I want, cost, and when they will be on sale next. I did ipulse grab the Ghostflame set, but only because I have wanted that one since the day I saw it but timing wasn't right until now. Everthing else I've waited on, budgeted and will pick it up when it reruns.

I think that's a pretty pessimistic point of view, but I don't have any data to say otherwise. I can say that if it is true, that it speaks for GGG not against them, since they aren't owned by Activision, EA, or any of the other dozen high profit, low moral companies pumping out mediocre games.

Sad, but you are correct there. No press is bad press.

Couldn't possibly disagree with you more. I don't feel like I'm gaming anyone, or being gamed. I feel like I took advantage of a sale that offered items I want, at a price I feel fine paying. I feel like a capitalist, and I'm happy with that title. Purchasing ANY of the items on sale, every single one of them, is the equivalent of lighting your money on fire in real world sense. I like the aesthetics and I respect GGG and the company model they have so I enjoy supporting them. That's really the only takeaway you get from giving GGG money, sale or not. I've given Activision, EA, Blizzard, Id, Valve, Microsoft, Raven, Squaresoft, etc so much more money than I've given GGG, and felt like I've received a lot less back in regards to what I, and my money, mean in the development of future titles. I give support to GGG because I love playing POE, and am continually impressed by the work they keep putting into it, but more important to me, I can't wait to see another title from them. If GGGs model changes drastically, or they get bought, I'll quit supporting. Until then, I'll keep playing, and supporting with a smile on my face.

I agree with that sentiment, just from an opposing pov. Apparently I'm a white knight. I've been called FAR worse than that in my life, and it really doesn't offend me. It just makes me think you've misunderstood my stance, which is more common than uncommon in the information age, so par for the course. I have no delusions that GGG will favor me over you because I support them in this venture and you do not. In fact I feel the opposite, as it is a universal truth that the squeaky wheel gets the grease.

FWIW, I hope this community backlash does make GGG consider 86ing this type of sale in the future. It IS tedious in comparison to a traditional sales model, I understand how people feel left out, and I do think that it inspires impulse buying over planned purchasing. It just works out fine for me either way. Hopefully those of you that feel disenfranchised don't think I've crossed the picket line by spending points. And if you do, so be it, I won't loss sleep.
Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit amphetamines. Do you like gladiator movies?
So, four more to go. Still hardly any skill MTX that were offered.

Any guesses what will come next? I still hope for Black Hole Frostbolt / Vortex.

GGG is EVIL... is CORRUPT... MANIPULATIVE... on Cosmetic Effect sale for a F2P Game!
Come again!?

Spoiler
PPL losing their sh*t over a cosmetic sale, while a few days ago GGG blocked a thread from being viewed for a while (thanks to Reddit), and most didn't give a damn (cus you know, all in the service of our holy Reddit users).

Thanks for the Sale GGG, hope you do it again!

For a free game I find myself spending money more than on any other game.. and I buy for two players :)

But as this is the most enjoyable game I've played in recent times I feel it is well spent.
bought a couple of things in this sale.
