I'm playing this. Currently lvl 39. Went cleave > sunder > cyclone in act 3. Works great.
I plan to use kongor's mace this time but it's not written in stone.

Filters here:

Neversinks special 2h filter for flashback

Greengroove's filter: My version for act2+ leveling 2h swords/axes/maces cyclone

Using both. They are highly adjustable.

Here's current Flashback progress on my Scion.
Finally got 6L Astral Plate today and clear speed increased enough to make this build enjoyable.

Initially leveled with 4-link Wild Strike and it was pretty damn fast until about lv65. That was when a lot of ele resistance mobs started appearing.
It's probably not worth switching to Cyclone until getting the 6L.

I should upgrade my gloves next... :D

Level 67. In act 9. Only done first lab so far. Gem links are incomplete.

This is wrong. I can beat T16/T17 with just 5L cyclone and a Kondo's Pride every league ever since the introduction of Brutality gem.

Your problem is Crit scaling require good investment (jewel, gears and passives) to make it worthwhile and especially in 2H melee weapon. In comparison, RT 2H build scale very well and cheap, only lose to crit version at lategame with heavy investment (The "lategame" here means UberElder).

I transition to crit version with my Scion at ~Lv95 (you can do that earlier, but definitely not before Lv90+, and require some gears such as Elder crit armor if you want to scale crit with Starforge), because I know doing that carelessly would just ruin the build (which was already farming UberElder as RT version anyway).

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is your current POB: https://pastebin.com/UW12zeJt

This is using all your current gear, but switch to Kondo's Pride and RT version: https://pastebin.com/i1KMbddt

You gain more Life, more leech and even more damage (~50% more).

Yeah I suppose you are right. Only my flawed setup didn't work too well without 6L.
I'll respec and swap out that critical strikes gem.

You did give us a warning that crit version isn't league starter friendly and I should've listened :D

Thanks for the tips, PoB tree and time spent on helping !

Also you should get both Raider and Slayer sub-ascendancy at merciless lab, and Duelist starting point at Uberlab. The bonus MS% and perma onslaught from Radier sub-ascendancy is amazing for leveling Cycloner, and perma full frenzy on boss is also very good.
Please what are cons and pros in comparison with this Ngamahu Cyclone build (https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1819239) ? I played Ngamahu in Bestiary.
Maybe this is little bit cheaper due to missing Xophs blood? What about power of the build? Weaker, stronger or the same? The passive tree is almost the same.
Good guide:)

p.s. i am starting to love the play-style od cyclone- moving+doing damage at once :D

Didn't have too much experiences with Ngamahu so can't comment on that.

For the cost, pure-phys 2H RT build is very cheap to gear up, since you don't care about WED, ele-penetration and don't even rely much on add-phys scaling from amulet/rings as most 1H build. You get almost all the dmg scaling from your link, weapon, passive and jewels (and 2H jewels without life% are dirt cheap on market).

The cons is also come from the same reason. Because you have only limit ways to scale your dmg, you won't peak millions of POB numbers like other builds in endgame, so you won't be able to melt boss in seconds. Though I think the community of POE focus too much on MAX DPS numbers instead of damage consistency as criteria to evaluate builds.

The strength of the build is more on good survival/sustain and consistent dmg output (Don't need to align all the buff, flasks to get optimal dmg), which make it relatively easy to pilot well.

For me personally I can do all contents in POE including UberElder with ~450K POB DPS (https://youtu.be/0jS_5q-2pD8).
And if you lower the standard to just Guardians/Shaper, I can do them all deathless with 5Links, ~150K POB DPS (https://youtu.be/RXMLHZ752Po).

So i am loving this build. I have only played for about a month or so, and decided to run this in the flashback. The character is Imaspina.

I know my passives went a different path then others so i am doing some things tonight to bring them more inline with what i see in this thread, but for some reasons i still feel like i get randomly deleted at times, and not sure why. My resistances are are 76/77/73 (yeah lightning is slightly short) but its not lightning damage that is killing me at times. I am going to to try to clean up my passives and remove the evasion to armor passive, i just can't figure out what else is wrong. I know my life is a bit low but i am only just barely in yellow maps at this point. Is it just the lack of HP that is kicking my ass?

Thanks and awesome build.
