thanks for POESKillTree
I can't load my items onto the skilltree. Is it "get-items" or "getitems"?

Wonderful! This is great, thanks for the post.
If posts do not mention penguins then the signature will. Penguins.
Hey headhorr,
If you try to use it while pathofexile.com is down, the tool crashes.
I assume the same thing would happen if you tried to use it truly offline. Not a huge deal but worth noting.

should only crash if you don't have the needed data yet.
The data folder with the skilltree.txt and all images.
once they are downloaded it should work completely offline as long as you don't delete it
Well done!
Great piece of work, truly. Makes it far easier to crunch the numbers and min/max builds.

However, I've noticed some errors regarding calculations and assumptions on health.

Using this lvl 0, 10-point build, my calculations of +x to maximum life is 110. If we assume 10 levels have been earned, the max life should be at 170.

Calculations according to in-game mechanics and the Mechanics Thread:
+ 50 base HP
+ 30 HP from Heart of Gladiator
+ 30 HP from Str [(30 + 20 HoG + 10)/2]
+ 60 HP from levels (10 lvls x 6hp/lvl)
= 170 to max HP

According to the PoE Calculator, the max HP is 155. This is wrong, and it's based off of some incorrect assumptions used.

Calculations according to PoE Calculator:
+ 45 base HP
+ 30 HP from Heart of Gladiator
+ 30 HP from Str [(30 + 20 HoG + 10)/2]
+ 50 HP from levels (10 lvls x 5hp/lvl)
= 155 to max HP

I found that the base HP the PoE calculator was using by taking the same build from above at lvl 0, yielding 105 max HP. (less 50 HP from 155, thereby proving each lvl gains 5 HP instead of 6) Using the passives without the HP/lvl, the calculation should be 50 + 30 + 30 = 110, not 105, revealing the PoE Calculator's usage of 45 as its base HP, which is wrong as well. (x + 30 + 30 = 105, x = 45)

I haven't seen any other errors with the PoE calculator yet, but if I do find them I'll point them out.

you could've just taken a look in to the source.
haven't read in the mechanics thread for a long time.
Will fix it some time.

I didn't find this error by looking at the source (the code is tremendously long and I'm not a programmer so I wouldn't really know what to look for). I originally calculated the HP and increased HP% by counting it manually, and when I decided to use the calculator, I saw something wasn't adding up.

To quote the Mechanics Thread:

"
Life/mana per level
All classes begin with the same base stats, and gain the same amount per level:

50 life, +6 per level
40 mana, +4 per level
50 evasion, +3 per level (including level 1)
