Donald Trump and US politics

I suppose that you are German? Your gov is basically saying to you that you arent civilized or cultured enough, to be trusted with free speech. Therefore the gov apparatus has to suppress your speech and thoughts with censorship, else you might turn Nazi overnight. Which is ridiculous.

We have had that. And it can work in every "civilized" society under some circumstances. Our Neocortex is just fine tuning.

Btw fascism hasn´t necessarily to do with killing people. It looks different today.

Arsenal was shite today

GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.
Personally i think a lot of the Russian fear is more of the Fear from Putin himself (not the country as a whole).

For the average (sometimes not-so-educated) American, they see Putin as the ex-KGB gangster that has forced Russians to love him. The sensationalized stories of Putin dissenters showing up at the bottom of lakes or suddenly committing suicide is also part of the puzzle.

Putin is a strong leader with his own Agenda. He holds his cards close to his chest (unlike our Leaders) and as a result doesn't gain the full trust of the average American.

Look at our President: Boisterous, direct and to the point, narcissistic and answers complex questions with 140 characters or less.

Then you have Putin where the only images/ideas ever presented about the guy look like this everytime:

Spoiler

The media in this country show him as a monster and then wonder why there is an unnatural fear of him and his country's intentions.

This shit is all intentional. I mean we have an idiot running north Korea that shoots off missle tests like fireworks shows and all people do is laugh at him. Americans don't really take the threat seriously probably because of media presentations like this:

Spoiler

There is a definite U.S. politician's agenda to get it's people to distrust Russia. There are bigger things happening in the world, but when you divert the attention of the people to a "monster" it's easy for the government to pass legislation that effectively pulls the wool over American Citizen's eyes.

I always hear foreigners tell jokes about "stupid, lazy Americans"...and it used to bother me. Over the last 10 years I've come to realize that maybe all of this time foreign citizens are just calling a spade a spade...and that hurts my heart as an American.

People hear have bowed their head to convenience with their Iphones and smart devices. Our children are getting dumber and that's why it is so easy for intelligent people from other countries to come here and succeed. We have the best of the best in the U.S. and a lot of the best are not homegrown.

The unnatural fear that we have of "their taking our jobs" are driven by the similar fears. Our education is inadequate and in the global scale of things we are falling behind.

Guys, the whole barking against Russia always has been because of the bone called "resources". In late 20th century, the West almost accomplished the plan to get its hand on the vast resources Russia have and turn its remaining /the plan was to reduce the population to 40-40 millions/ citizens into service personnel. But alas there is mr. Putin. That is why he is hated so much. Western /and US as its flagman/ politics invade every country to get its resources since the WWII. Most prominent example is Afghanistan, when during the Taliban rule the production of opium dropped to zero for two years. Then US invaded and the production was restored. Alas, in the case of Russia the resource grab by invasion can't go easily because of the nukes. As once Russian tzar said: "Russian have two friends: the army and the navy". Russians know very well its history lessons, their lives depend on it.
Holy shit, I haven´t seen this before.

This is actually what I had expected, but it´s still hard to listen to. Alarming...

I'm very curious what you find so sinister about the following comments (other than Pac-Man's instruction that you should find them sinister):

"We have three equal branches of government in this country. The judiciary is not supreme." (Do the courts have the authority to legislate from the bench?)

"This is an ideological disagreement between those who believe we should have borders and should have controls, and those who believe there should be no borders and no controls." (Is it even PC to call an illegal alien an illegal alien?)

"There are massive numbers of non-citizens in this country who are registered to vote. That is a scandal." (Are the dead citizens?)

Bottom line: this guy looks like the Alex Jones of the Left, exaggerated headlines and doomsaying. Take him with several grains of salt.
When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted.

"to avoid tyranny" - that´s not something abstract, which might be surprising for some people....

Who else can declare laws or presidential acts unconstitutional ?

It´s not about superiority, that guy is deliberately misleading people.

No one wants to have no borders and no controls. Misleading.

No proof for any voter fraud.

I can´t believe I have to explain that to you...

Alarming is the attitude:

"you will not deny it"

"president is correct 100%"

and so on...

That´s authoritarian talk at it´s "best". You don´t think it´s alarming ? I don´t get it.
