Once upon a time I voted left and considered myself left-wing. The left was corrupted by "progressivism" already at that time, but I didn't see it for what it was. But in the latter years the cesspit really overflew and everyone can smell it now.

The hypocrisy, the shaming tactics, lack of argumentation (he who screams louder wins), blind dogmatism (bordering on religiousness), the verbal & physical violence, uneducated rabble screaming insults, the social and economic entitlement, the foul language... the left has become the opposite of what it was supposed to be: smart, educated, liberal, pro free speech, anti-violence. Its all about identity politics, shaming tactics and ideological dogmatism now.

The regressive left is loosing credibility every day. Normal average people have enough of this bullshit. You can only enroll youngsters brainwashed by Hollywood and liberal media or shame people in supporting you. Your tactics suck and eventually only push more people to the center-right or toward conservatism.

In a normal healthy environment I would not support Trump. But in this toxic cesspit of leftism, politicians like Trump are needed more than ever. Not only Trump, but conservatism, traditionalism and patriotism, are all needed more than ever, to stitch back the fabric of western society, that has been torn apart by deranged leftists in the last decades.

Tell me about it. Another funny moment - I've always identified as a Marxist and I've had a few arguments with Scrotie and others just about that. I still do. What these guys are spewing has nothing to do with Marxism, of course. At least as far as Marx wrote a book with a solid working theory of historical, social and economic development. The book isn't called Communism, by the way, it's called Capital. Not by chance.

They're all virtue signaling and taking an imaginary moral high ground, from which they hurl verbal feces ending in -ist and -phobic. And all I hear is "blah blah blah".

So, pretty much this video then?

I gotta admit, I do find it a little strange when these identity-politics Antifa-cheering hatemongers are referred to as "the Left." I identify as right-wing on several issues, but I don't consider this new abomination to be anything like the (comparatively) reasoned Left of yore. I half-like Rubin's term, "the regressive Left," as it separates the new idiots from true progressivism, but I half-hate it for even acknowledging these cretins as members of the Left.

Here's what I really think: in typical double-speak fashion, the people classifying others of hate speech are the ones promoting hate; the people claiming to be anti-fascists are fascists; the people claiming to oppose Nazism are the new advocates of bigotry. I don't think it's a mistake that, decades ago, Hitler's party called itself national socialism. What we are dealing with now is the true neo-nazi movement, and that's what I really think of Antifa thugs: domestic terrorists, brownshirts... Nazis.

My respect for Marxism is, shall we say, limited, but it is easily a few tiers up from Nazism. I feel it's an insult to kooks like Bars to continually paint these Nazis as "Left." There is no mainstream Left anymore. The neoconservative warmongers completely co-opted, conquered, and contravened whatever political structure the Left previously had, and are now in full brainwashing mode. The two major players remaining: the Right, and the Nazis. Which side members of the now disenfranchised Left choose will determine the outcome of the conflict.
